Thanks for the reply but couldn't you use mediafire or Ge.tt ... this looks suspicious. Even if there's nothing wrong with it, it causes one to think twice.

I would certainly like to get this share and am prepared to REP you for your time but I was turned away (screen frozen) because I refused to disable my ad blocker and just don't know how long it would take to download as a free option. I can't see past the paid download options.

That's no way to share something. This might be easy for you but 90 percent of the people here will have one helluva time downloading it.

Before Upload any software I always check with Most Powerful Antivirus and test it on my Computer.

Okay, graverobber ... I'm not here to pick a fight with you or criticize you. Showing a screen shot of your computer is nice ... the point is when you make a share, you SHOULD (if possible) provide a VirusTotal.com link that people can click on to verify that the file you're giving them to upload is clean.

It's forum protocol...or so I thought!

I see people post links from all kinds of spammy sites they just happened upon. Only later will someone complain that the file is infected.

I'll back off now ... I didn't mean to sound like I was picking on you. I actually like your share and would love to have it. The fact that I use an ad blocker and the download site you're sending me to is bitching about it, kind of puts me in a funk. I don't like jumping through hoops.

There are too many good and familiar fileshare sites you can use ... but hey, it's your share.

Hell, I'd rather Zippyshare to this!

I'll try to find it elsewhere.

UPDATE:

First of all, I want to thank graverobber for providing a Zippy link for me. I double-max repped you for it.

Unfortunately, I just had a chance to run a virus scan with my computer's (Avast) anti-virus and it found a generic threat. Now, it could be that the file is an executable. I don't know and I'm not here to say there is definitely something wrong with it.

My Avast generally doesn't over react. I made a mistake and downloaded the file twice, so the one I virus checked has a _2.rar added to the file name. You can ignore that. The files were identical.

Here's what Avast reported:

FYI: C:\Users\Layna\AppData\Local\Temp\Rar$VR6792.15410\Articulate Storyline 3.3.15007.0_2.rar\
Threat: Win32:Malware-gen

I tried to do a Virus Total but the file size is larger than 256 MB.

So again, thanks graverobber ... for the trouble of uploading again for me. I do appreciate it.

I'm not saying people should NOT download it ... but you're doing so at your own risk. Maybe someone here can educate me on this to put my mind at east. I did a bit of research and got nothing to make me confident that it's okay.

I'd feel better if there was a patch or crack file involved as A-Vs sometimes over-react to them but this file contains only 2 executables and a readme.txt file.

So as much as I'd love to play around with this share, I'm reluctant to install this being that I don't know where it came from and despite the screen-shot graverobber posted, my anti-virus did find a generic threat.

A couple of Questions

Why links provided by me Blocked(spam/monetization) and other same monetization Links NOT?
Ziipyshare and Mediafire and other hosts are Monetization Hosts!! Nobody will work for Yours For Free!!!
They exist exactly on ADS income and all of them are Monetization Hosts!
Same is Mega- Asking money and this is the limited download host!
So where is the non-monetization hosts and free host where we can upload files for free and these links will never die?

Don't let this upset you, graverobber. I was just trying to protect all of us on the forum and you as well ... because it is standard and accepted that people provide a link to a virus scan if the file is not too large. Again, I didn't mean to rile you up. I really appreciate that you took the effort to provide a download link I could use.

I also feel it is my duty to come back and report if MY anti-virus reports an issue; despite whatever link or image is posted showing there being no problem. Some people here are very new to computers and don't know the danger of just downloading stuff willy-nilly. We need to look out for one another so my reporting a threat (in my opinion) is to help others ... and not intended as throwing shade on you or your share.

So, thanks again for telling me it's a false positive. I tried to do a little research and didn't find anything. My computer is working okay and Avast is good but sometimes it throws up a flag but after I do a quick scan, it finds no problems.

I may just keep this share after all ... I will just have to install it by working around Avast and hoping for the best.

Don't be defensive ... as for the banned links, the forum's inner workings (software?) seems to not like certain links. One way to get around it (if it's not too inconvenient to do) is to SPELL out a URL instead of posting it as a link.

For example, instead of http://website.com/my-special-link-just-for-you (supposedly, not a real site ... at least, I hope not)...

You can write: website dot com forward slash my hyphen special hyphen link hyphen just hyphen for hyphen you

A heck of a lot to do but it's the only way I know to get around the forum's obsession with deciding which links are spam or premium.

Another reason to stick with accepted file share sites. Technically, there should be no monetization if you're sharing, right?

I understand how you feel about YOUR links being banned while someone else seemingly gets away with doing the same or similar thing. I have been royally P-O'ed over people stealing my shares and posting them all over the internet. Just the other day, I was reading something and I thought to myself, "Wow, this person writes kinda like me!" Well, as I got nearer the bottom of the article/post, I realized it WAS something I'd written. Then I found Layna61524 at the close. My ears steamed up and my eyes shot fire daggers.

I DO think the forum moderators need to come up with some hard-and-fast rules and make everybody abide by them. That's the only way things are going to be fair all around. If I go through the hassle of posting a VT scan (or at least, some explanation of why I can't post it and what actions the reader can take to protect their computer) then everybody should. Yet, more than half the shares I download come with no descriptive copy, no virus information/scan link, a pissy little (oftentimes suspect) download link and in many cases, the download link was simply lifted from goodness-knows-where!

If your links get banned, then anyone posting the same kinds of links should also get banned.

Please know that I meant no harm coming back here to report that I found a threat. Thanks again for the Zippy link.
