RE:
I have to agree with Midilicious and Palent.

I have used WP Clone by WP Academy for a long time and it is the best i have ever used.

RE:
I'll add another vote for WP Clone. Just did another migration today, large WP 4.1 site (1.2gb) worked perfectly, even though 4.1 not listed as compatible yet. Makes the BB, WPT, Duplicator etc plugins look useless, especially with sites having large amount of other domains in root, not to be included.

Seems worthy of a try - Thanks for sharing this info:

Interesting info from that page:
Quote:NO SUPPORT AND DISCLAIMER

As mentioned above, WP Clone fails in 10-20% of installations. As such it is NOT intended as a regular backup method, its strength consists in migrating WordPress installations. The failures appear to be related to the multiplicity of WordPress hosting platforms and the size of the installation rather than the WordPress version (so please don’t feedback “WP Clone does not work for my version of WordPress”, this is most probably false). Do however, leave negative reviews and open a discussion on the support forum if you get a failure, providing as much detail as possible, including your hosting system and the size of your site. We will likely not be able to respond, but the information will be useful in helping to isolate the problems with the different hosting systems. Thank you.

Is there another free one that is better for backing up than this one ??

I agree with Ms-Keys' suggestion of UpdraftPlus. I have been using the free version of this plugin for years - and so has over 1 million other WP users. It does an excellent job of backup and restore AND also clones sites for moving. Also, they have recently added UpdraftCentral, which allows you to backup, update and manage all of your websites remotely from one central location.
Magic Button :
