It's amazing after a year listening and reading what has been shared here.. Quasar is right! I've been in the dark for a long time and non-conformer is so right too. After quite a while here and putting things into practice it all makes since. Folks like Jeffries just are on a wheel to take advantage of us. We give him permission as it were to keep putting out all this re-hashed junk. I've come a long way and have learned a lot sitting and watching and putting into action like I say. I would suggest you to do the same. Just giving stuff away isn't the entire answer and if you can't give and take you are missing out. It's all about what they say, have integrity and stand behind your products and make your customer happy and make sure it stays that way. People are not stupid and after a while they will wise up.. unless they stay in the same place all the time. Sometimes you have to get out there and do something different because if you don't it'll stay the same and it's true, that is insane.. thanks guys for being here. I get it now. I still have a long way to go but I know I'll be alright now.. All the best.. Fizz

I try to look this over as often as I can when it comes down to what I do and I learned this early on after you guys slapped me good last year because I had no idea what I was doing.. and I'm still working on it.. (just an example of what I think about daily and continue to thrive at doing)

Step 1: Learn the basics of WordPress
Step 2: Learn the basics of Keyword Research
Step 3: Pick a topic and local area with high search terms
Step 4: Compile a list of potential clients
Step 5: Create a website + blog and get ranked for your term (this takes time)
Step 6: Approach local clients with your offer (renting ad space or selling the website)

(I added.. And let me say, you have to have good support because if you don't you are screwed, 'nuff said.)

As you can see here, there’s a lot to learn. Making money won’t happen over night, but what you have here is a solid business plan. It’s completely true that just one new client could mean thousands of dollars in revenue for some local businesses and they will pay good money.

But they are not dumb, and will not “throw” money at you unless you can prove that you know what you are doing and their money is paying for something useful.

Of course this isn't what Alex is teaching, website creation and all but, as IM'ers we need to wise up. After a while it comes down to taking care of our customers because they are the reason we are here are we not? If you take what I just wrote above and read between the lines and apply it to what it is that you do online you will come out ahead. The heck with all this re-hash learning! Get out there and get to it. I'm speaking to myself as well. It's time to make those dreams come true for those who are still wondering about IM. It can happen for you but if you give up because of, well what are we talking about above? Yeah, you will give up if you continue to do the same ol' same ol' thinking it's going to work someday. That day won't happen. Get some good teaching under your belt and take action, you will be glad you hung in there to be sure.. (it's simple really) That's it, take care.. I'm out there.. Fizz
