Discomix, thanks, +5 reps, it is an interesting topic and far afield for most people, Edgar Cayce is my go to source material on the Akashic Records, sadly this all that's available online.

So far the book "The Quantum Akashic Field: A Guide to Out-of-Body Experiences for the Astral Traveler by Jim Willis seems closest to the Edgar Cayce description, where you seem to Astral Travel to the Records. Some of those books are just not usable by the average person, they'd need Doctor level training or something similar for healing, and that takes years and years of training. Then after all that they'll die anyway.

In one reading Cayce even talks about how Jesus defeated death and how one does it, err learns it. Now we're talking way beyond healing on that topic. Even all the Apostles failed to attain it even though they had a teacher face to face. So it's something learnable as theory but most fail at it in practice (as science fact not religious).

As a world we're gradually getting better but time is running out, we're only 16 years away from 2038 which is when the timeline (so called Pyramid Inch) in the Great Pyramid runs out. Most likely the start of a new age, and bodies with more energy centers (Chakras or Endocrine Glands) than we have today, a good time to be alive, I'd bet. John Van Auken is probably one of the better authorities on what Cayce had to say. Better to have the Cayce readings on CD or DVD so you can see for yourself.
