[GET] A Car Dealership Owner Tell-All: How to Save Time, Money, and Stress Buying or Leasing Your Next Vehicle
[Image: 51dD-V3DmOL.jpg]

It doesn’t matter if you’re shy wallflower who hates haggling or professional negotiator - information levels the playing field. Even if you currently know zilch about buying or leasing vehicles, you’ll soon achieve automotive badass extraordinaire status.

It doesn’t matter if you’re old or young, woman or man, both, neither - you could be a green alien from another dimension – doesn’t make a L*** of difference –herein, I’ve armed with you with ALL the skills and information you need to buy or lease a vehicle. I’ve met thousands of consumers from all walks of life: doctors, plumbers, realtors, postal workers, carpenters, hospitality devotees, cashiers, educators, lawyers, chefs, truck drivers, HVAC wizards, funeral directors, marketers, cops, accountants – only a tiny percentage had mastered the whole bag of tricks. Lots of people are good at one, maybe two, aspects of negotiating the deal. But then, they flunk out in another area. And that’s how the dealership makes a meal of them.

Think about this: There must something going on. How else could dealership net profit margins remain steady despite the increased competition brought on by the price and information transparency of the net?

Don’t believe the cliché about old dogs: they can, and have, learned new tricks. And you won’t find the scoop in Edmunds, Autotrader, KBB, etc. Why? Because you don’t bite the hand that feeds you (ahem, massive advertising revenue).

Here’s what we’re going to cover, in the order we’re going to cover it:

1.How to Pinpoint the Best Car for Your Lifestyle/Budget - We figure out which models best meet your lifestyle needs/desires while considering mechanical reliability, safety, and residual value. This will be familiar to the more experienced buyers, but it doesn’t hurt to review the basics - especially with all the new technologies: pre-collision systems, lane departure warnings, blind spot monitors. Also, there’s many kinds of cars to choose from today, e.g. electric, plug-in electric, hybrids, etc.

2.How to Shop Efficiently - Sure, time = money, but time = time you could be doing better things with your life than car shopping. Like drinking wine, or reading, or being artistic, or being in nature, or spending time with the people you love.

3.How to Negotiate the Best Price - Whether you’re buying or leasing, how to obtain the lowest price for the new vehicle AND reap the highest value for your trade-in, if you have one. Do you know how much money dealers make when they resell your vehicle or dispose of it at an auction?

4.How to Examine and Evaluate the condition of a Certified Pre-owned or Used Vehicle (if not buying new) - Some unscrupulous dealers have no qualms about concealing a serious defect that won’t rear its ugly head for a few months. We’ll go over what to look for and whether it’s prudent to bring the vehicle for an independent mechanical inspection.

5.How/What to Negotiate if You’re Financing or Leasing - You know that person you meet after the sale? The one in a little office with the fancy clothes? That’s the finance manager and s/he makes an average profit of $1,100 per customer. I’m going to share some stories so you don’t get duped into paying a dollar more than you should.
And leasing - I’m amazed how many consumers doesn’t understand how to negotiate a lease – especially considering it currently accounts for roughly 1 of 3 new car transactions. We dive into the depths of leasing so you’ll be in the know.

6.Aftermarket Products - Gap insurance, extended warranties, lease excess wear and tear protection. What you need (if anything) and how much to pay. This is where most people lose big time. In the industry, this is known as “product penetration.” Ouch.

7.After the Sale -What should you do if something goes wrong with the vehicle? Stuff breaks. We cover how to handle it and make sure the manufacturer/dealer lives up to their warranty obligations - with minimal inconvenience to you
