They explicitly justify the claim of "free" by explaining that the ROI is fast and substantial so "in effect" the traffic is free.

A sort-of review:
Their base approach is very simple and (ignoring the little known traffic source) is well-known to BBHF folks of course. Traffic from Adhitz to a Squeeze Page promoting a make-money-online type product, because those are the types of folks who will see the ads; then redirect them after opt-in to the sales page for the product via your affiliate link; and follow up with an email series. They provide a model of the first email. Their OTOs apparently include a more extensive funnel and more extensive email series as well as some tested ads.

Adhitz looks to be inexpensive on a per-click basis (their site suggests 3c to 14c a click but he says he pays less in reality), there looks to be a lot of ad inventory, and it offers text ads or image ads. No mention of a deposit to get in, and they talk about running budgets of $3 or $5 a day.

They also suggest trafficforme as an alternative traffic source, which I've heard others speak well of. The traffic is more expensive than from Adhitz but they emphasize, the traffic is good whereas cheap traffic is crap, which is an interesting stance to take given that cheap Adhitz traffic is their first recommendation. (In an earlier video they knock FB and PPC traffic as untargeted which is a bit silly and they didn't need to try to make this point.)

There are 8 videos, the longest is 5 minutes something, they are to-the-point after the initial stuff.

If you download these, you can see on video fix4 at the 4:54 mark, some of the products they've either promoted with Adhitz or else used as demo fodder.

The video that is 6th in sequence but labelled fix10 starts by showing a "typical" Adhitz text ad as it would appear to viewers, at 1:08 shows the squeeze page, at 02:50 shows a screencap of an email having an open rate of 62.5% then at 02:57 shows the email itself, which is also reproduced in a pdf.

I've made it a personal challenge to get some ROI from the cheapest of clicks, it's sort of a challenging hobby, and so far I've not found anything that works consistently. Cheap-click traffic love freebies but they can be very hard to persuade to part from cash (in my experience, anyway) and even some painstaking funnels haven't succeeded in persuading them to cough up a few bucks.

BUT, opinions and "I think" and "in my experience" don't mean anything in this game. In God we trust, everyone else better bring data and that means testing and reporting. Having their funnels, ads and email follow-ups from OTOs would be helpful but not essential, it's all the usual stuff, isn't it. Just not sure if it's worth the time to test.

You definitely have the right point of view - "in my experience". :-)

What Tristan said is the unmitigated truth. It all comes down to "testing and reporting".

When you stop just copying what you THINK others are doing (because that's what your GURU told you they're doing) and start looking at the numbers that you're getting from your actions -- you finally have the real opportunity in your hands to spend $50 (or $500) on Monday and take out $150 (or $1500) by the end of the week.

After a couple of weeks/months something will undoubtedly change in your advertising/sales funnel dynamic - and you'll have to adjust things a bit to stay "on the bubble".

Get used to it. What we just described is the way it will be forever.

Personally, I find a lot of interesting insights from Barrett and Prissick. Maybe you don't like their business model, but it works. I've talked with both of these guys (copywriting) and they truly do make a living from this stuff. No more nine to five. More like 24/7 with the ability to take a break whenever you need it. REALLY!

Their Gold Plated Secret!
They make a lot of similar products focused on the same type of audience over and over. They heavily rely on affiliates to promote their quick-fix type products and thereby get a bigger and bigger mailing list of buyers. Then they promote coaching programs to these $5 to $7 buyers and make $8 to $20 extra per name per product sold. Simple funnel. It works so great because they are marketing to a known quantity - BUYERS of IM products who will part with $7 every week.

You can do it too if you want. The field will always be unsaturated. New blood is always needed....

I have never heard of it until now. They suggest buying either text or display ads for .03 to .14 cents per click. Does not look like a lot of money for a publisher, but it might work for a marketer.

I am getting good results with FB ads for the same prices. I also disagree with the author of this WSO when he says that you cannot get targeted traffic with FB. FB is by far the best method I have found for targeted traffic.

You can also get cheap clicks with Bing that I am sure will provide better quality traffic than AdHitz.

They also suggest using TrafficForMe.com, which looks like a solo ads seller. The starter package costs $150. I think this money would be better spent on FB and Bing ads.

But I might try AdHitz to see how it goes. It is always good to have a backup in case FB decides to ban my account.
