Here is a quick and easy way to get free gov and edu links to your website. No matter if your site is new or has been around for years, these authoritative backlinks are necessary if you want to increase your site power.

This is also good for keyword dilution because all backlinks have naked url anchor.

Nice List, hopefully these still work, I used to have a .gov site that I found which worked in the same manner, but it stopped working =( lol

My question is after i put it into notepad and change the url what will be the next where i should place the changed .edu websites and ping?

Go to #3 where it shows the urls to ping from... copy them into your browser (one at a time) and then copy the 'new' list you have made. Press submit and wait for it to finish. Do the same with the other 2 urls. Simple. Lol
