RE: [GET] 15 FREE Email Management Services (Free AutoResponders, etc)
Does anyone here have thoughts about Listwire? Has anyone used it?
I'd give it a try, but my understanding is that the way they make their money is by marketing to your list. So your list becomes their list as well. The only problem I have with that is if people associate other emails they're getting that I have no control over, will they associate it with me? And how aggressively do they market to your list? Anyone know anything about this? |

RE: [GET] 15 FREE Email Management Services (Free AutoResponders, etc)
When I had tried Listwire free (been a while) what they did was put their ads on side of page something like that after s.o. opts in .. they don't email them ... they just show their ads ..

I guess the advantage of downloading and running it on your own hosting account is that you don't have the limitation in your list size... I think. Don't quote me. I don't quite have it figured out altogether but I'm still looking. There's a paid account hosted with them for $120 per year. That looks like a good deal too. The free account has ads. I'm thinking I may go with the free one and possibly upgrade later, or download the software if I can run it on my hosting account. |
