RE: Freelancing your way to $100,000 - COLE SCHAFER
Thank you for the share Layna. I went through the PDF, can't believe he is actually selling this for $97! I am pretty sure I can find 90% of the stuff for free on Google. I would give it a quick read and that's it. Thanks to you we get this for free

RE: Freelancing your way to $100,000 - COLE SCHAFER
@tonny, Mr. 20/4, mitpapgr: Thank you for posting, my forum friends. Thanks for your reps and kind remarks, as well. @daily-rp: You're welcome, friend. I totally agree with your assessment and I pretty said exactly that in my text doc I added with the download. @All: It's a goddamn dirty shame what (some of) these internet marketing goo-roos get away with now-a-days. I feel sorry for people who --- like I used to do decades ago --- spend their hard-earned money on pretty promises but get very little substance or value in return. And good luck with getting a refund. There ought to be a law! If you notice on that Gumroad sales page (if you want to call it that), he alludes to a "course." So I went on a wild-goose chase searching for his name and that title thinking there was actually a course. At $97, it should be a course. But a little farther down the page, he calls this a guide. It's a 44-page waste of time where he chats you up like he's sitting with you over a beer. But he does not go into any detail about the specifics of earning $100K a year except to suggest you "do freelance copywriting." (Homer Simpson voice): Oh... DOH! Truth-be-told, I was so upset about this, I started to pass on that REQ thread and not even share the thing. "Marketers" like these make me proud to be a black-hatter. Product pimps! That's what they are! Whenever they need a new car, a bigger pool or a more luxurious vacation, they just churn out a shiny new IM product that says what the thirsty masses all want to hear. Like "Make a Gazillion Bucks in 4 Short Weeks Without Lifting a Finger!" Outrageous claims like that. They price their POS product or course to sell at a few hundred bucks or several thousand dollars, payable in "3 easy payments" Then they blast out a quickie promotion to a few thousand on their own (and/or a marketing buddy's) mailing list. They sit back and yawn because this won't take long. Then, out come the bank cards from people all over seeking a better (or easier) way. People who consistently drink the Kool-Aid. As a result, for these marketers, that's how the magic happens. But, for the working stiff or someone just trying to figure how to get a financial foothold, the only change they feel is being lighter in an already thin wallet. RANT OVER! (Layna drops the mike). You asked. I delivered. For what it's worth, enjoy the share. ![]() Layna61524 |
