Hi Forgotten Hero.

Very admirable of you, to think about helping your fellow man.
Many people live life with blinders on and only care about me, me, me, me.

I am slightly confused as to what exactly you're trying to do, but if there is anything I can help you with, I'm more than happy to help.

A few thoughts... Pessimistic at best, sadly!
A huge problem with people is that everyone wants to get a perfect, easy solution served on a silver platter. Preferably with a 1 million USD passive income attached to it.

The reason I say this is because you can be screaming to the moon and beyond.
People will almost never listen, simply because you're telling them something they do not want to hear.
That more or less means, that people will keep giving guys like Kevin David or Dan Lok their money, simply because they promise you the stars, and people are easily blinded by the light.

The solution is simple.
Education, and open access to it, to everyone, all over the globe.

How do you do that?..
I think sites such as Udemy and Skillshare are the best places to start.

On your site, add different categories, and add the best courses in the correct categories (use Mega links or links from Google drive, so they can livestream without downloading) so people can get freely educated.
Also, add a category called scammers, and add stories, videos, links from all the different people that scams all over the internet, and steals people`s hard-earned money.

That is my 2cents..

Ohh.. If you are into monetizing your little adventure, simply add affiliate links, and Adsense throughout the site.

Best of luck,

I admire your altruism Forgottenhero !!

Khawk1 has made a great reply to your idea IMO.

Seems to me that Wp has a greater chance of success.
I say this just because it is not easy to get activity in a forum UNLESS it is as fake and useless as a certain CPA forum I can point at...and even then things tend to get very quiet once folks realize that they've wasted their time when (as Khawk1 also said...) their megabucks don't come rushing in.
I totally despise board spammers and spambots !!!

Hi ForgottenHero

I think it far better to use Wordpress, as there are the most customizing options available, and its the easiest to build on, as you have more or less access to unlimited plugins through BBHF.
Also, more easy for visitors to use, and sign up for, than a forum from my experience.

I know the channel you refer too. I thought about that, the second I read your post.
Great channel.

I know your idea is to get BBHF members to post their reviews on various courses on your site, but let's be real.
+95% of the members in this site, makes zero money, have zero IM skills (Hopefully they will learn through this forum), and have no idea what the hell they are doing yet.
Sorry snowflakes. grow up!

I am thinking when it comes to criticizing people that make courses claiming they make millions, you should be doing it on an honest foundation, from people that have some knowledge, and not based on whether someone saw someones course and failed to follow-up/not take action, or maybe just heard some Youtube rumours or has a personal bias against someone baes on being a petty sad jealous human being.

And if you have BBHF members posting reviews on these guys, most of the reviews will 100% be based on rumours or based on people didn't take action after they had taken a specific course, and that's not helping anyone.

Don't get me wrong. Your idea is noble. It's just hard to make it fair and realistic.

That being said, you need to also be able to provide proof that these "Guru`s" are fake.
I know about Kevin David (I know you know of him also) but anyone else, how can you proof they are fake, lying, scamming or.. Very hard to proof.

Something to think about..

RE: FakeGuru.net | Need Partners to support
well, one of the more legit jv threads i've seen in a while i must say. we will see how it goes to see if it stays genuine.

first, i don't believe there is such a thing as a "fake guru". a "guru" is already fake by nature so the name is redundant. i guess for a newbie, they don't know any better which is why you want to create that awareness.

second, the domain name is very generic so this can apply to pretty much anything including those infomercials you see on tv which there were a lot more of them before the internet took off. but still, everyone and their mother wants to try and sell ya something and they practive deceptive tactics trying to make themselves an authority and someone you can trust. you would probably have to niche this down since it's very generic.

review sites have been done so i would highly suggest thinking outside the box where it can be a review site but in a unique way. not your standard pros and cons review site and listing an alternative for a commission. right now off the top of my head, nothing comes to my mind where a site like this would stand out. obviously you would need a ton of seo done to it for organic search results for the major keywords and a youtube channel where both would hijack the visitors of the 'gurus" or the affiliates of the "gurus".

i think you would need to incorporate a forum WITH a blog in my opinion and funnel the visitors from the blog in to your forum.

although we do need more awareness out there, we already have a lot of it through forums like this and review sites and even the warrior forum has their own platform where a person can review directly on the selling thread. and nowadays when we are talking internet marketing, most people who buy have blogs and already do honest reviews of products they have bought

a blog would be more for one sided communication where a FORUM is building a community that interacts with eachother. the downside to a forum in this case is that forums are typically created for people who are passionate about something which there will be a lot of posts and communication about things. this niche is NOT a passionate niche. in that sense, a forum may not be the best place to start. so if it was me, i would start with a blog and youtube channel

again though, i am not sure what sort of unique twist you can put on this where it's not like everyone elses review channel and blog, but you NEED one and you need one that creates interaction to where in the future, a forum can be very viable.

that's my two cents for now. i just woke up so my head isn't fully awake right now.....
