[FYI] Top 10 Copyright Myths
I have just been checking out copyright information, with a particular search for definitive wording for a copyright notice for printed and e-published books (as no two books ever seem to have the same copyright wording), when I came upon the UK Copyright Service website and the following page in particular. Whilst it is on a UK-based site, this page does touch on non-UK rules about copyright as well.
As several BBHF members are literary scribes in either the printed or ebook (or both) fields, I thought it would be useful to include the link here for the top 10 copyright myths, just in case anybody wasn't sure. Code: http://www.copyrightservice.co.uk/copyright/copyright_mythsI don't mean to teach any grannies to suck eggs here, but more information is sometimes better than less, and will hopefully go towards keeping most of us out of courtrooms, etc. ;) |
