I don't know if it's possible to set some type alert when this comes up again. If so can someone direct me to the instructions. I'm not in any way tech savvy so excuse me if this is a dumb question.

Hi brother:

We all learn by making questions! There is no any dumb question, only a lot of dumb and bad answers; but only very few intelligent and correct answers! Making all possible questions is: the only way that we can learn, like our children naturally learn! ;)

And even, making sincerely questions is the only way that we can spiritually enter now into the Kingdom of Heaven upon Earth (if someone have a question for this more important reality, always could write me a PM; and I'll be glad to answer you). Count with an angel here! ;)



MY TECH ANSWER:

When you write a post in a course of your interest, you could be Subscribed and Notified: when someone write a new post in the same thread. You only need to have the correct configuration, wait and I will guide you ;)

Also, as an exception, we could write a post (as an extra alert), before posting the coupon (some minutes before; if possible, because not always will be possible to do that). This will be the way that I will proceed, if I receive the coupon from the author; like an extra care in this case, don't worry, my friend!



BUT YOU NEED TO DO THIS IMPORTANT CONFIGURATION:

You should edit your "Messaging and Notification" options: to be alerted by email when you receive an answer to your posts in a thread or a PM, here:

SELECT THESE CHECK-BOXES:
* "Receive private messages from other users."
* "Alert me with a notice when I receive a Private Message."
* "Notify me by email when I receive a new Private Message."

AND ALSO SELECT THIS OPTION IN THE COMBO-BOX:
Default Thread Subscription Mode:
* "Instant email notification"



THEN FINALLY:

You could use an EMAIL-APP in your smartphone to alert you with instant notifications when you receive an answer to your posts or a PM ;) I recommend you to use an email in Gmail or Outlook or Yandex (an excellent Russian alternative), with their nice official-apps; or with any mail provider using K9-mail(opensource, lightweight and secure) or similar.
