There's not a lot more to tell, but I'll give it a shot.

I grew up writing, my mom and dad were in the mail-order business, so I helped them create content and sell it via small classified ads in papers like, "The National Enquirer" and others.

As an adult I worked in the music
video business in Nashville, TN, working with a slew of Country Stars a few you might recognize are Johnny Cash, Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson, Emmy Lou Harris, and Loretta Lynn. Every single one was fun to work with and treated everyone with courtesy and respect; nary a one was a diva.

That led to gathering with a group of friends to produce and a movie, with dreams of Hollywood calling. We made the movie, though Hollywood apparently didn't have our number, oh well, nothing ventured, nothing gained.

I'm not going to give the IMDB link here, but if anyone is interested, drop a PM. I was the writer/producer of the film.

From there, I made commercials, industrial videos, basically anything I could to turn a buck. In most cases, I worked as either a writer or a DP (Director of Photography).

Fast forward a bit, and I was hired to write content, do SEO, and work with Adwords for a penny stock site. It's no longer online, but when it was hot, we were on Google page 1, the owner was raking in cash but the penny stock industry changed and he did a pivot, sadly without me.

Recently I've had some life issues I'm having to deal with, and thus this thread. I've been told that my price is too high, that content can be bought for $10 for 500 words and I'll never get any work. Not sure I agree, but we'll see based on this BSO.

That's a pretty good summary, of course, there's more to tell, but a BSO isn't the place.

Questions, leave them in the thread.
Ready to order, drop a PM

What is the average TAT from start to finish? Does this change if more sites are ordered?

Regarding the content, could you tell me more about the resources/research that you do here? LSI, KGR, etc?

Say I wanted an affiliate site created and I provided the niche. What else would I need to provide in order for you to start. Who does the keyword research?

The average time is about one week, sometimes sooner, but that is my goal, and so far no one has complained about my delivery time. Let me state for the record, that I perform all of the research and writing personally, I do not outsource any of it.

Based on that, yes, certainly more sites equals more time to complete them. The actual construction of the site proceeds pretty quick, the majority of time is spent on research and writing.

Should someone order my "Buy 5 Get One Free", then I'd put the thread on hold until I complete the job, which in that case would take quite some time.

I always try to write conversationally, focusing on the visitors. I want them to be informed and engaged. Thus, I don't force KWs or LSI words. Instead, I blend them into the article, so both SEs and the reader are satisfied.

Quote:Say I wanted an affiliate site created and I provided the niche. What else would I need to provide for you to start. Who does the keyword research?

You can be as involved as you'd like to be or not at all, simply giving me the niche. If you have a competitors site, you'd like to beat, then showing me the URL would undoubtedly be a help.

Let's use the ever-popular "dog training" as an example. I'll usually head over to Buzz Sumo and see what I can find from there. Then Google search for "best dog training blogs" to find what others have done and are doing in 2019. Then I'll take some of what I've seen, put in my twists and create a unique piece of content.

As for KWs, I'll do the initial research using a variety of tools, but I'm open to the client giving me a list of several they'd like to target. Bottom line, it would seem logical that the client, rather than me, would be the one most familiar with the niche. I'm merely removing the task of creating and posting content, finding relevant images, etc.

Hopefully, that answers your questions, if not, then ask again.+

My name is Mark and my friend ShowbizVet asked me to write him a review here which I am happy to do. ShowBiz and I have been working together on and off since 2008. I used to own a handful of penny stock investment sites which Showbiz was instrumental in helping me get started. From site design to SEO and content writing, showbiz helped with it all. Hire showbiz and you will find he is an asset to your team. If anyone has specific questions regarding the work he completed for me, please PM me.

I asked a good friend of mine if he'd join the forum with the intent of giving me a bit of rep based on our time working together. He did, but his post did not show up here. I'm guesing that is based on the fact he just joined and does not as yet have posting privileges?

His username is "wfws", the following is what he intended to post If this needs to be verified by a mod, drop me a PM and I'll give you his email or you can see his single post which is held in review.

If you want a made-to-order site done right, and you are willing and able to pay for top quality, you can't go wrong with this offer. He has always delivered as promised and on time.

In case you're wondering, I'm not getting compensated with a discount or anything for this endorsement. I just like to help valuable service providers to do well so they are around when I need them. Showbiz is one of those for sure.

Much appreciated, you're project was a memorable one, and I'm proud to have been part of it.

The one thing I strive for is quality. I am fullly aware that content can be obtained less expensively, that's why I go the extra mile (or two) to ensure what I produce is top-notch.

Of course, it's like you said, some can afford it, others only need cheap content for feeder sites. My content is designed for money sites, always has been, always will be.

And, while this offer is for complete sites, I'm also available for small projects if needed.

Thanks much.

p.s. And yes, I did NOT apy you for the endorsement, but happy to buy you a beer should we meet in person one day.

My partner and I have gotten showbiz to put some sales pages together for us in the past, and we've always been very satisfied. He delivers quality work and he's great to deal with in general. Definitely worth it.

Also, I'm not getting any sort of compensation for this either. He's a good guy, who does good work, and I wish him the best!

I've had work done by Showbiz in the past and it's always been excellent. He's great to deal with and his stuff is perfect.

And I'm not getting any sort of compensation for saying this stuff either. He's just a good guy, good at what he does, and I have no prob recommending him. You won't find anyone better than Showbiz.

This is the second PM I've received concerning who writes the articles? I do, plain and simple, I do not outsource any of it, that's one reason I charge what I believe is a fair price. I'm well aware some of you buy content for $10 for 500 words. Great, good for you, but no, while I'm happy to negotiate, I wont' come down to that price, ever.
