The Ivona TTS package is a huge download - several gigabytes, and personally, not worth the hassle imo, since the speech quality is rather average at best. Personally, I thought some of the voices over at http://www.acapela-group.com/ were a bit better. They have a demo on their site, where you can enter in text and you can hear how their different voices sound speaking it out. Even better, if you have a download manager such as Internet Download Manager, you can capture the mp3 of that text sample. So you don't even need to buy or install any other software at all. There is a character limit though for their test samples, but you could simply get around that by entering your text in small batches, then joining the mp3's together.

you need powerpoint for the slides.... and camtasia or screen flow to record your audio and screen... then you just record yourself doing the presentation.

Go to Fiverr and search for voiceover. You can get a good voice for pretty cheap there but of course, if you are doing lots of videos, it will probably be better to learn to do it your self.

Voiceover is not about the sound of the voice, but what you DO with it.

I'm an experienced VO guy myself.

Believe me when I say that you can do it. Unless you are completely unintelligible or have some kind of speech impediment, you'll do just fine.

If the only problem to use your own voice is you don't like the sound, there is always AUDACITY software, to modify it to your liking.

If you don't like the sound of your own voice, I suggest you use a software like AVS Voice Changer Pro. Just Google "AVS Voice Changer Pro" then visit the site. Your search will turn up a lot of related links such as Youtube videos showing how it works and even sites offering cracked versions of the software.

You can download a free trial to test it out. Then decide if it is good enough to buy. Not expensive, either.

It changes your voice to suit your desires for your video. It can even make a man sound like a woman, child, cartoon character ... and similarly, make a woman sound like a man and more, such as background sounds (horns honking in busy traffic, gun shots, etc.)
