This does seem a more 'sensible' thread on Covid-19 compared to the other one where it is full of crazy conspiracy theories.

I never have understood whilst American people seem to think that everything is a conspiracy, crazy really.

Personally I think people like to overthink things, there's a lot of videos out there from some so called experts with their theory on this killer virus, again crazy stuff.

I see it as being a natural phenomenon, as simple as that. But there are people who cannot understand that and they are the ones who come up with the crazy theories.

Yes, here in the UK, we have been hit hard, relatively speaking, because as mentioned before, our government were listening to scientific expert's advice and tried to go down the 'herd immunity' idea, which allowed the virus to spread into society and put us on the back foot.

They introduced a lockdown far too late and even a 'soft' lockdown where we see people ignoring lockdown rules everyday because they didn't introduce very strict rules, as did Italy, France and Spain.

A measly £60 fine and that's it, hardly a deterrent or punishment. The price we paid was huge cost of life and now when we seem to be just over the 'peak' they are already talking about easing lockdown rules, but it's far too soon. We are still getting around 600 - 7000 covid-19 related deaths a day in all settings.

But it's a natural phenomenon, it came and it will go.
