They were too "in your face", too salesy, too long (OMGGGGG their emails are too long), and more. So I figured I'd give my own little method a shot.

(To be totally truthful, I had seen one other person doing it like this, but because I have a huge ego, I felt like my spin on it would work even better.)

So what the hell - let's give it a shot.

I fire up a quick software (which I was NOT paying for) to scrape leads.

While it's running in the background, I go write my cold email. Doesn't take long - maybe 10 minutes...12 at the most. Whole thing (including my subject line *and* signature) comes out to 58 words total.

Once the software finishes up, I've got about 200 leads to contact - cool. So I start sending...using *two* cool methods.

One is using a NICE tool (that you don't have to pay for if you don't want to - I didn't). The other is a sweet little "hack" you can use.

Both methods all but GUARANTEE you'll hit the inbox - no spam, "promotions" folder, junk box, or whatever else. (And if you're in the email game, you know what a big deal this is.)

In total, I spend about 8 minutes sending out emails - I know...such a CRAZY time investment. lol

Then, to be brutally honest, I just forgot about it - got busy with other stuff.

Check that evening and I've already received three responses from business owners wanting to know more.

First thing the next morning, I decide to send more emails (leads I'd scraped the day before, but not contacted, yet). Takes me a whopping additional 3 minutes. Almost immediately, I get another interested response.

So I start this whole thing at about 330pm on a Wednesday afternoon, and before 9am Thursday morning, I've already got 4 highly engaged potential new clients, interested in what I have to offer them and literally ASKING me to tell them more.

It's something we can definitely talk about.

However, this coaching is about cold email outreach.

aka:

--determining who your ideal customer is
--figuring out exactly what they want (<==possibly the most important step in the process...which almost EVERYONE messes up)
--finding their contact info
--setting up a system to contact them at scale
--getting them to respond back to you as quickly as possible, all but salivating at what you can do for them

A lot of different things can happen after that during your follow-up (get them on the phone, continue via email, simply send them to a sales page, but them on a newsletter list, etc) and will depend entirely on who you're targeting, what you're helping them do, what your offer is, and more. There isn't a one-size-fits-all solution to this.

I will definitely help you with the follow-up, but this coaching is focused on the initial outreach in order to fill up your schedule with highly targeted, highly interested new prospects that want to hear what you have to say.
