So no one else has any ideas or suggestions on how I go on about email marketing? A desktop mailer program (like UltraMailer) + a SMTP server like Amazon SES or PowerMTA, Interspire, a dedicated server, and a VPS correct? Are there other options for email marketing?

I have a client who wants me to send her Youtube video message to 2 million email addresses. Which is the affordable option for me to send her message to that many email addresses?

Looks like I'm late to this conversation, but better late than never...

@rpgman1 have you been able to set this up?
It looks like you're looking for a one-time drop for your client, which would require a different solution than if you're looking for a 2m daily send.

For a one time send, I would recommend finding someone who already has a system in place and paying for a drop, or possibly doing a JV with them. Then you never have to worry about setting everything up.

If you insist in doing this yourself on the cheap end, do you care about it being done all at once or could it be done a span of a few days? if you don't care, you could set up a system that can handle 60-70k a day and it'll take you a month to go through your list.

I haven't been able to set it up lately since a previous seller ripped me off on setting up a custom SMTP server. A joint venture sounds nice, but the seller left me hanging on using his SMTP server and charged me more than I already paid for.

Yes I'm doing it on the cheap end, but it can be done over time instead of all at once. I just need to send to 2 million email addresses with one message.

Atomic Mail Sender is a good option in all sense. You can easily go with that.
