I have it downloaded, but it's a bunch of ".dump" files which I have no idea how to open. I tried renaming them to ".csv" files which at first seems like it will let me open them, but ultimately they are too big for Excel to open.
There are some other CSV files of all the credit card transactions going back a few years, but each batch of transactions is in a separate daily CSV file. The weird thing is, I've found a couple emails of people I know who were found in their database, according to some of the sites that popped up supposedly allowing you to search the Ashley Madison database. But when I do a bulk search via Notepad++ across all the CSV files for credit card transactions, I cannot find those email addresses in them at all. If anyone knows an easy way to open and explore the dump files, I would love to know. |

I think it's more thank likely not gonna be worth the effort.
Just a hunch but the way I see it is that this list is going to get raped properly by everyone trying to spam that with offers. Secondly, the guys using the Ash Mad service are very very likely using it under a separate email account which they probably setup purely for this site. They are married so they prob used a separate email account in case their wives and stuff had access to their primary mail accounts. Now that the site has been hacked and the data compromised it's very likely these guys dont even use these mail accounts anymore... Just my theory...I could be wrong. :)
