Imagine how much traffic you lose on your own landing/buffer pages that just doesn't click through to the offer you are promoting! If you are new to cloaking, here is an explaination of the different cloaking modes available in the plugin aswell as optional settings:

User Agent Cloaking:
Every browser sends a so called “User Agent” string when requesting a website. Most bots have a unique UA so they can be easily detected in the webserver logs. When you enable this cloaking mode, the plugin will check the UA of every request sent to your Blog and compare it to a list of known spider UA's. If found, it will show the original blog content. If its not found, the plugin assumes that its a real visitor and will redirect the user to a defined URL that you can specify in the plugin settings.

Referrer Cloaking:
This method is similar to the User Agent tests, but this time the plugin checks the “Referer” string. To explain what the referrer is (and why there are 2 spellings) here is a quote from Wikipedia:

"The HTTP referer (originally a misspelling of referrer[1]) is an HTTP header field that identifies the address of the webpage (i.e. the URI or IRI) that linked to the resource being requested. By checking the referrer, the new webpage can see where the request originated.In the most common situation this means that when a user clicks a hyperlink in a web browser, the browser sends a request to the server holding the destination webpage. The request includes the referrer field, which indicates the last page the user was on (the one where they clicked the link).Referer logging is used to allow websites and web servers to identify where people are visiting them from, for promotional or statistical purposes.”

To use this method, you just have to define referrer strings such as “google.com” for example if you want to cloak only users coming from google search U.S., or just “.google.” to catch all countries. Just pick a word within the referrer to match and add the string to the db file.

IP Cloaking:
IP cloaking is currently one of the most reliable methods, but you have to keep track of your IP list. How this works is that the plugin has a list of thousands of known spider IP's and if an IP is not found within that list, it will be cloaked, otherwise if the IP is detected as spider IP, the real site will be shown. ARGOcloak checks the class-C subnets only to increase speed and reliability. A class-C block in networking (if we take the example IP 123.45.1.1) are the addresses from 123.45.1.1 – 123.45.1.255. As most of the time search engines own the whole C-class it saves lookup time and makes the cloaker more reliable. Other cloakers check for exact IP matches so when you have 123.45.1.1 in your list, but a bot from 123.45.1.2 visits, it wouldn't be caught. This is why we check the class C, so you only have to add 1 ip to the iplist and the whole class-C is covered. This also saves a little hdd space when you have many installs ;)

Optional rDNS Checks:
This is an additional option available for UA cloaking which adds an extra check to verify that an IP is really owned by a search engine spider. rDNS stands for “Reverse Domain Name Service” and its a method to get the domain name from an IP Address. Google for example advises that this is the best method to verify their bot i.e. that an IP is really Googlebot as the User Agent can be easily faked and set to an arbitrary value such as “Googlebot/2.1” for example, so UA checks alone aren't reliable enough. A nosy competitor or manual reviewer could find out that you cloak that way. With this option enabled a simple fake UA wouldn't work. This doesn't work for all existing bots, but the major search engines like Google,Yahoo,Yandex,Bing etc. all have proper rDNS entries set. FYI the default rDNS strings are stored in “.rdns.db” within the plugin directory, in case you want to add your own. You don't have to enter the complete domain, you can also just add parts of the domain to match, for example if you want to detect any host from google, you could add “.google.” , or if you just want to catch a single country like germany: “.google.de”.

WHAT ELSE CAN THIS BE USED FOR OTHER THAN SEO ?
- Get a domain approved for facebook ads and once approved, you can redirect to a new landing page.
- Promote banned domains on Instagram, Youtube and other networks, by using a decoy domain with ARGOcloak
- Stopping competitors from looking at your site/source to reverse your on-page strategies
- Be creative !

The last cloaker I used was blackjack and it was good all around from advertising campaigns to pbn.
From what I have seen on the features list of this product. This is good for pbn and may be a good competitor to other cloakers around.

This is just my opinion but these 2 options will be great alongside your plugin/script.

-link/offer rotate : This will be the best split testing tool since you can just put out number of links then it will auto rotate on what time you specify for example

1 offer rotates every 3 hours and etc

-Geotargetting : This is a good a way to utilize your traffic.
For example it detects the user is from US then it shows offer on US
If the user detected is from UK/SG and etc then it shows an offer depending on where the user is from.

Just my opinion since I have used muliple cloakers and note that I did not test or own this cloaker these are just my opinion
