ADMIN would be a weeks away for CHARITY Purposes

To those who are unaware that ADMIN of this forum was from Philippines.
And last week i think, Sad things happen when one of the several cities (Cagayan De ORO, Iligan City, etc.) was been flash floods and landslides that sent mud and logs crashing down on residents by the typhoon "Sendong" and many people had been killed. Most of them were children. It happened at night when residents were sleeping and un aware of this tragic incident.

Quote:The disaster agency said more than 338,000 people in 13 provinces were affected by the disaster, with nearly 43,000 still in schools, churches and gymnasiums.

More than 10,000 houses were damaged by the typhoon and the flash floods, of which nearly a third were ruined. Many schools, roads and bridges were also badly damaged.

More than 15 million pesos ($340,000) worth of crops, mostly rice and corn, were damaged, but the Agriculture department said losses were minimal as the crops were in the early planting stage.

Christmas is coming and i don't think there will be a Christmas for those people, the fact on what was happened on them.

Our company uses Philippino workers and have an seo person who lives in Cagayan De ORO - we are so blessed that she is alive. The people that died were caught in a "mud flood" that buried people alive and the stories are even more horrific than normal life in the southern part of the country where war is a reality. Help these honorable people any way you can through donations or hiring them like we have over the years.

woah thats horrible! I don't donate to charities and kinda broke until the end of the month but definitely want to help. You guys should open a paypal account to take donations to give to those people who need it most.. I would donate $30 just as long as it goes to the people in need I'm sure others would as well.

I'm back guys. Thank you to all people who had helped those people. My prayer goes to all people who had died on that incident and families that had weep. I am quite lucky somehow that this is quite far from our place. Thank God.
