Why You're Stuck - PART 1

DO: Then they ask... What do I need to DO to HAVE all those things? Sell products on Shopify? Create a sales funnel? Find a product on AliExpress? Start an information marketing business? Give a car to Uber?

BE: Then, they say.... If I HAVE all those things by DOING the thing I'm going to do, THEN, I will BE happy... successful... amazing.... giving...

Okay hol' up! I am sorry to break some bad news to you but that is the problem. Tht is the reason you are stuck.

If you want to HAVE, before you DO and BEcome, then you are CHASING MONEY. You are NOT creating value, and your desire for success and happiness will continuously elude you.

What is the solution? Do it from the opposite end...

FIRST: BE

BE the person you want to be. If you want to be rich, then do exactly what rich people do. What do they do? They feed their mind with positive things DAILY. They cut off negative influences - drugs, people, customers, etc. They study their industry and other industries too, learning way broader and longer than others. They work longer and harder than their own employees.

They build relationships even when the relationships doesn't seem like it's going to yield anything soon. And they don't think about tomorrow's gains, they think and are more focused about gains in 2 years, 5 years and beyond - long term.

BE happy by deciding to be happy. A big house with an Olympic size swimming pool or a vacation to Fiji will not make you any more happier. It takes you choosing to be happy, or be happy.

BE an entrepreneur. It doesn't take owning a "tech startup" to have a legitimate claim to being regarded as a business owner.

BE an entrepreneur by deciding. Decide to wake up, each and every day and making a decision to RUN your business, or LEARN something that will improve your business, or TAKE the next step - even though it is hard.

BE a giver. Give to the less privileged. You don't have to be rich to give something, but you will be happy when you give someone you're more fortunate then something. If you don't have money, you can give your time.

BE a lover. Have a significant other? Family? Friends? Then love them deeply, love them fully, love them wholly. No half measures. No holding back. Buy them gifts - they don't have to be expensive. Call them. Show them you are thinking about them, even while you're doing business.

BEing is the foundation.

The list is endless. WHO do you WANT to be? WHO do you know you are... deep down? Forgiving? Understanding? Motivating? Strong? A leader? A generous person? A compassionate person? A happy person? A family person?

DON'T WAIT to be the person you are meant to be. DO IT NOW. The only thing holding you back is THE DECISION TO DO IT.

THEN: DO

Only when you know the person you ARE. Only when you are BEING the person you are, can you EFFECTIVELY DO.

When you ARE an entrepreneur, then you wake up every day and DO THE WORK of entrepreneurship. You make the calls, solve the problems, develop the systems. You have ZERO EXCUSES.

When you ARE giving, you take the time to volunteer at the charity, or listen compassionately, or love deeply.

The act of DOING flows easily from the person that you have BEcome, the person that you ARE. That's why BEcoming is the first step, because when you BEcome, DOing is easy.

The DOING will be creating VALUE, because you are not chasing money. You understand that money will come to you when you provide value.

FINALLY: You will HAVE.

Having... the money, the things, the cars. All these "things" will flow naturally out of your DOING. They will never come to you if you are chasing them with no other motivation or understanding.

One of the greatest advice I ever got was "money gravitates to those who do the things money likes". My grandfather told me that.

The things you have are the yield that grow out of your BEing and DOing.

Rich people don't wake up wondering, "so how much money am I going to make today." No, they wake up and just do the things they have always done, BEing the best they can be at their craft and DOing the things their businesses need to be successful.

And bam! Because they are and do these things, they get the results they want.

It's like planting a crop. You put a seed of corn in the ground, but you don't sit there and expect it to germinate immediately and produce a cob in 24 hours. No.

You water it, weed it, apply fertilizer, build a fence around the farm so animals won't come in. And in a few months, you'll watch your one seed of maize, grow into a slender corn stalk, with a few corn cobs of several thousand seeds on them.

Imagine if you had wanted to have 5 corn cobs first, before planting the maize or watering it, or weeding it.

Or BEcoming a professor without first going to Primary school, high school, University and then getting a Masters.


How possible is that?

Pastors who understand THIS don't go broke...

But this prophet, who happened to be one of prophet Elisha's followers left a massive debt to be paid.

I can hear you say, problem.

And you are right.

So, the wife ran to Elisha.

But to cut the long story short, Elisha offered a simple solution to the money problems.

The prophet's wife has a bottle of oil in the house.

Prophet Elisha helped her multiply it and told her to sell it.

Now, here is the thing.

Wasn't that bottle of oil there before the poor prophet died in penury?

Of course, the bottle of oil or even more was there.

But the poor prophet died poor because:

(1) He didn't ask for help (which his wife did)

(2) He didn't realize the value of what he has in his house.

(3) And he didn't know how to sell.

I am saying this because I think what this chapter of the bible also teaches us is that you can have prophetic anointing and still be poor.

I know a lot of pastors who are poor.

They go to the mountain and fast and pray for 7 days straight.

But when they come back to the house, they don't even have enough money to buy food to break the fast.

On the other hand, there are other pastors who have both the anointing and the wisdom to make money.

(1) They read books and ask others for financial advice.

(2) They package what they have in a way that is useful for MANY people and even companies.

(3) And they know how to sell their solutions.

As a result, they are thriving when others are struggling.

They don't wait for their congregation to pay tithes or offering before they pay their bills.

But what about you too?

(1) Are you seeking help and reading books that help with your finances?

(2) Are you finding and packaging deals that you can offer to people in exchange for cash?

(3) Are you sharpening your selling skills?

If you are not doing any of these and you are hoping to find a bag of dollars that an angel dropped in your backyard, you are wasting your time.

How I Revamped My Life Few Years Ago

Few years back, my monthly income from my business was around $800.

That is because I had just shut down one of my websites.

So, I was back to selling online.
