RE:
Dillon - My suggestions for the update - Some way to set % of visit times. IRL - say, 25% are bounce, 10% are 30sec+ etc. This stops the traffic curve looking odd to Google.

Suggestion 2 - A way of geo targeting the visitors (US/UK or World)

Suggestion 3 - A way of spoofing IP addresses of the visits in conjunction with the Geo targeting (e.g. 'Any random IP address between 98.120.123.000 and 123.120.123.255 will get me all unique traffic from Germany)

Cheers

I mean the manual of using it.

If you can send me a message about the what you're wanting to specifically use TraffcDemon for I can make some suggestions for you.

Thank you very much for the suggestions.

Suggestion 1) I'm not sure how I would go about implementing this but I will certainly look into it.

Suggestion 2) I am hoping to have this implemented in the next version release, I've been tested different ways of implementing.

Suggestion 3) Would you be able to provide more details about this one? I'm not familiar with what exactly that means, functionally speaking.

RE:
Hi Dillon

I'm no programmer, but, perhaps :

1. Implement (say) 4 random time ranges instead of 1, so 0-1s (Bounce), 1-10s, 10-20s, 30-120s then call each range 25/40/25/10 times (A fixed % to replicate real life) with a loop and counter code.

2. Is there an external list (like a live firewall list) that could be used as input? Saves manual updating.(http://www.ip2country.net/ip2country/ip_country.html)

3. Currently, TOR assigns a new IP address every load. I've seen something from John Linebocker that refreshes the ip address every 5 (say) mins. So, the 'visitor' uses any ip address from the Country List in 2. (Same country as target site). Every (say) 5 mins, the outgoing IP address is refreshed so 'another' visitor from country X visits the site. (50 hits from one IP looks suspicious of course)

Cheers

HP's Loadrunner software will do the ip addressing, there are also hide/change my ip address progs that might donate code.

1) Sounds like that could be good idea, I will definitely look into implementing this/something similar.

2) I will have to look into further and see what the best option I can find is. I do not have an ETA on this particular feature but it is on the list. I may do this apart of a proxy checker tab I am thinking of adding.

3) I've made some notes down about what you have mentioned and will also look into this further and see if there's a useful implementation I could do.

Thank you for the feedback/suggestions, more are always very welcome.

Dillon

RE:
Dillon, I've thought about the GEO - Why not use the list of proxies but run them through a Data Bucket with Lookup (Excel does this), to sort proxies into Geo areas. Forget the Tor and IP Renew - keep it simple. This 'file' could be created weekly/monthly and downloaded to paste into the proxy field (Unless you can automate the import of the file?)

Thanks

I've made some more notes down about what you've mentioned and will see what I can come up with. I've got a lot going on right now but I'm hoping some days after new years I'll be able to get to working on the official v1.3.0 release that will have some kind of GEO target implementation. I will let you know if anything is finalized and of course if you think of anything else I'm always more than happy to hear it. :)

Thank you again for your suggestions.

Dillon
