2. Yes, it finds discounted items on Amazon that you can sell on Ebay for profit (usually anywhere from 5-50% profit margins)

This is an amazing product, but I have some concerns, and perhaps the Op can assist me with this..

I was one of the early adopters to DS Domination a couple of years ago, and made myself a packet, until I realized the "flaw" in this arbitrage model.

Allow me to elaborate.. eBay fees are assessed on the "Total" value of the product being arbitraged, and not on the "profit margin."
Add to the above eBay listing fees (which are assessed even on re-listing items recently sold, (not forgetting pp fees) then the profit margins are single digits, at best.

A $10 profit potential on a $80 product being sold on eBay accrues about $8.00 in value fees, then about $2.65 in listing upgrade fees.
To make at most, a $10 profit margin (after eBay and Paypal fees), one needs to sell the product with a min profit margin of about 30%, otherwise the monthly fees eBay charges on all products sold at that time will chow the profits.

As this is retail arbitrage, something that both Amazon and eBay frown upon, Care to please shed some light on this Op?

Secondly.. DS Domination accounts were shut down en-masse by eBay due to the "selling activity" of the MLM members, ie.. buying from Amazon and selling on eBay etc..

Once a buyer (on eBay) complains about receiving their product in a Amazon box.. that account goes automatically under review.. with the possibility of being black listed.
Also, one cannot use an Amazon Prime account to arbitrage on eBay..

This would be my 2nd concern.

I'm hoping the Op has a work around this, because this product has merit but, under the wrong hands, I foresee some trouble ahead.

Hello activ_x! Merry Belated Xmas to you too. Let me see if I can breakdown your questions, one by one. Some are valid concerns, however a few are false.

Ebay FVF and Paypal fees are calculated on the arbitraged product fetched by PS on Ebay. The profit margin displayed by PS is your net profit (so it is 100% accurate). There is no reason to calculate the fees on the profit margin.
Again, the profit you see within PS is your net profit. All fees are accurately calculated for you.

This is a false statement. My associates and I have made over $10 profit on as little as 10% profit margins. This all depends on the item sold, HOWEVER with that said, selecting "10% profit margins" within PS will bring back results of 10% AND OVER. So you will receive products that showcase anywhere from 10% to 60%+ profit margins.

I'd also like to note that if your seeking $20+ profit per item sold via arbitrage, then you'll need to purchase products from China and store them within Amazons product fulfillment centers. Your only going to get those profit margins from purchasing products in bulk via wholesale. Anything over $10 profit margins (even $5) is a WONDERFUL profit considering you have no upfront investment costs, no storage fees, no labor costs, etc, etc, etc. Your literally generating that profit with less than 5 minutes of work. Many wholesale products (especially consumer electronics) have extremely slim profit margins. Unpopular (non hot sellers) are typically the ones you can rake in the cash with.

This is also incorrect. Ebay TOS actually state that items can be dropshipped from other marketplaces (its in their TOS). I have spoken to Ebay reps as well about dropshipping from Amazon. They already realize a large amount of sellers on Ebay are dropshipping from Amazon. This was NEVER an issue with Ebay....ever! These false statements have been perpetuated from others who have literally no experience selling on Ebay.

This is one of the biggest misconceptions of product arbitrage.
If you think about it logically and don't follow "the herd", why would Ebay care if your products are being shipped from XYZ or Amazon? Their PRIMARY FOCUS is to make sure you deliver your products on time and do not mislead your customers leading to negative feedback. That's it! If you can follow those 2 simple rules, your golden in the eyes of Ebay.

I don't have anything positive to say about DS Domination. I'll leave it at that. I too have had horrible experiences with that company. I cannot atest to why Ebay sellers from DS may or may not have been banned, but I can guarantee it was not from selling products from Amazon.

As for the Amazon Prime statement. This is false. You can use Amazon Prime accounts to sell on Ebay, HOWEVER it is against Amazons TOS, this is why I always tell users to open NEW Amazon accounts and DO NOT utilize your MAIN account. I understand being hesitant and concerned stepping into a new niche of MMO. Programs like DS Domination was extremely over priced for the information they were giving. Product arbitrage (AKA- buying low selling high), will and always has been a great way of making money online without any previous online marketing experience, which can be channeled into other venues if you decided to take that route later (Ecommerce, wholesale product sales, etc). 20 years from now, people will still be making money with this system........just within other marketplaces.

This looks great as with everything theres work we all have to do...Not sure if theres training videos
as in do you make your ebay people pay a small shipping price or use Free Shipping as im sure most of Amazon goods are free shipping so not sure whats best when using this method going forward....

And also do you just do a normal listing on ebay or use there upsells to get more traffic or do you wait to see if a product takes off first then scale up to get more traffic.

I don't "make" anyone pay for shipping as Profit Spy doesn't (nor does any service) handle that. Shipping is handled via your Amazon Prime.

Sorry, but I couldn't really understand what you were asking on the last paragraph.

I believe what they're asking is do you do a listing with or without ebay listing upgrades. More than one category, sub-title, etc.

Someone mentioned they were in DSD and then stated listing upgrade fees. Don't know where they got that from as those are never discussed in DSD. Keyword rich titles is the MAIN thing you have to worry about in getting your listing found.

Speaking about other sources does your software handle searching other sources, such as, overstock and walmart? If not. Why not?

Tracking price fluctuations and quantities of products is what will make or break you in this business. I slowed down because I was having trouble with a few hundred items doing it manually. Now I see that DSD has software that does it as well as others like priceyak. Does your software help with these issues?

Gotcha. I do not purchase any upgrades. I find they're fairly useless.

You should already know about the countless and unwarranted upgrades you have to purchase for every tier of DSD (5 or 6 of them). You don't get much of anything with the $20. They continue to dangle that carrot in front of your face every step of the way until you've spent well over $1500 (not including software). Again, $20 doesn't get you shit.
Anyways, enough of the DSD talk....

There are future plans for Overstock and Walmart, however I will be implementing Ebay and Amazon UK well before these two marketplaces as they really are not needed when utilizing Amazon US. 9.5 times out of 10 the software will pick up a lower price on Amazon than it does on those 2 marketplaces.

Your very 1st priority is finding products to arbitrage. This is a MASSIVE obstacle to overcome within the arbitrage industry. Doing this manually will take well over a few hours to generate possibly 1 single product that has a profit margin over $4 including PP and Ebay fees. That is the primary concern here.

The software will be released to the IM and MMO community on Jan 28th and is expected to do well over 250 units to start. I also have a JV agreement with Price Yak in the first quarter of 2016.

I just got your master class and I am going through the videos. I see that your software does show updates. It wasn't clear though if the searched items you list can be saved to go back to and check price updates. Maybe I missed it.

It would be nice to get those other marketplaces as I had a terrible time just trying to manually find items from only Amazon that were worthwhile to arbitrage, but I guess if you have software to help it would be better.

The great thing with those other sites is that there are deal sites that give cashback if you go through them and some have their own site wide cashback you can use for your sales. Overstock has a good site cashback program. Sears has a good one as well. You could get cash back from a deal site and Sears have their own cashback and saver shipping program. I got to a point of paying off a good chunk of my ebay fees with the deal cashback and lowering my cost with the site cashback.
