It is a pretty waste of time! And I hope people like him not try to join the group to save them their own time...

As for the member TheNexus, I'm sure he is a respect-able member and person!
There may be some misunderstanding of goals of the stuff here, and I'm pretty sure he could turn to be a great fellow as well.

I myself was considering something similar - more of a private buy group ;- everyone throws in some script or the other:- value of which being their "starting balance"or wallet:- the retail value of that particular script, then they get a (just for example) a 2:1 ratio, they are able to grab double the value in scripts of other ppls submissions: or if someone deposts x$ tehy can withdraw 2x$ in scripts. everyone adds to a list of requests, of which are bought in order of demand. Now the system wouldnt be fair if someone that shares 1x had same access to someone that shared 10x. One person might submit a 10$ script another a 1000$ script.. the 1000$ one might have been found free somewhere, or aquired from a friend or GB..hence the dilemna So anyway i just gave up on the idea, and just casualyl poke friends with similar interests when i do decide to buy, or just open a GB. the latter of which speaks for itself as BRZ willing to put down aa fair some of his own money.

just a case of solid management and a fair model, the former of which i am happy with in relation to this thread. If anything i would reccommend ideas from all in shaping this into a form of Progressive ongoing GB -> most popular scripts are already aquired, good stuff comes out over periods, and it couldbe wasteful to just go out and aquire in one single batch. if you make into something more of a ongoing GB -> once a month new releases coudl be reviewed for acquisition, for those not already out through the likes of 96 and similar (u may have noticed shares in general on forum have been dying out since before christmas - majority is just resposts of stuff shared elsewhere)

There are people who are genuinely interested in this because it makes sense to a lot of us. If he decided to spend $1000 bucks out of his own pocket, why can't he ask if people are interested BEFORE hand? I don't see a buy link, so this is NOT a GB.

As the moderator has asked me, I SHOULD ASK HOW MANY PEOPLE WOULD LIKE ME TO RUN IT, PRIOR to starting any group buy threads indeed.

I'm asking how many people are interested in doing it, and more than 140 are already interested.

By this point, I already purchased a bit more than $1.000 in stuff to help people here.
If you can tell what more than 140 must to do, I don't have this right, and I won't say a word about it to them!
It means that:
If you believe you can rule the life of more than 140 people, do it yourself and tell them they are not allowed in participating on it.
I'll not do it myself.

In the event the forum owners tell me I can't do this group buy once people is willing to join it, I'LL NOT DO IT.
However, I'll have nothing more to add for this community, and I'll take my Life in Peace ;-)

I was BeTheme GB one and that is one of the most interesting decisions. We believed in people, effort step by step in g-buy process, sometime it's seem unfinishable and finally we bought BeTheme together. What an experience!
I'm not IT man. My job has a very very little concern to IT or website builder. However, I like this GB idea. We come from all over the world and we buy it together based on believe.
Moreover, I admire the way BRZ contribute to community and his big effort complete this fiction project. So I stand by him!
