Fantastic post. More should use before google goes after web 2.0.
However i've been reading google webmaster forums and have seen at least 50 people complaining about sandbox hitting their sites after manual link building. Seems google is devaluing links from sites that have a lot of other links. The web 2.0 still works but sites that are on seo link tools and link farms have been completely devalued. It may be a good idea to get a couple guest posts pointing to your tier 1 web 2.0. That would have way more effect than a spun content web 2.0 with 5k bulk links. I even read on google forums that they do accept link trades between 2 related sites as long as there is no money exchanged and you don't trade links with 20 + blogs. So it would seem if you want to get decent rankings early on, write really good content and start messaging blog owners asking for a link exchange. They might even be interested in a guest posting to their site! |
