How To Get Tumblr Followers

Her's a simple tutorial how to get many targeted followers for your Tumblr blog:

1. Forget following others! You can do that if you find another blog interesting, but don't do it hoping the other one will follow you back. Most simply won't. And aggressive following-unfollowing might get your blog/account banned.

2. Those who post what you post AREN'T INTERESTING to you. You want those who like what is similar to what you are posting, because those users will most likely like your content as well.

1. The normal modus operandi for marketers using Tumblr is filling their blogs with content by reblogging content that fits their own niche. I assume you're already doing that.
2. Now, while looking for new content, don't just post it to your blog (or add it to your queue): Look at those who have already liked that content which you are about to reblog. Those users are interesting.
3. Now you only need to make those users notice your blog. How do you do that? By visiting their blogs once or twice and liking their content. They'll get a notice about that, see your blog name and might visit it. And maybe they'll even follow you - why shouldn't they. After all your content is very similar to content which they've already liked.
4. Even if they don't follow you, remember that the goal isn't getting as many followers as possible but getting interested visitors to your blog. Even non-followers might click through to your website, purchase your product or whatever.
