[QUESTION] Facebook Page Slapped
I have a Facebook page that was climbing the rankings for about 3-4 weeks. On 5/16, I lost rankings for every one of my search terms, about 8 of them.
I've performed some manual checks and the URL isn't deindexed, and it will at times show up for at least one search term, but not for the 8 money keywords. I've been looking at this over the past 10 days or so trying to figure out exactly what happened with it - whether it's a manual penalty, or was associated with Panda 4.0. I'm also trying to determine what, if anything, can be done to get the page to recover. I know I can't be the first person to run into this, but I can't find anything else from folks that have run into this with a Facebook page. I wanted to throw this out here to get advice from you guys on whether there's anything that can be done to help it recover, or even to help determine whether it's a drop related to a manual penalty or an algorithm penalty. |
