Steps for get Elite Status on Hotspot Shield

1. Edit your Hosts file in C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc in Win7 x64 and add info below

2. Restart your PC.

3. Install Hotspot Shield now. Close it , Delete af_proxy_cmd.exe in Bin folder

4. Apply patch, now have Elite status and can change the country of server..

Add the following to your hosts file in addition to the existing entries
127.0.0.1 http://www.hsselite.com
127.0.0.1 https://www.hsselite.com

Untick "Show on restart" in HSS so it doesn't autostart when booting up.

Start Manually and run as admin.

If you have upgraded from 3.37 to 3.41 then delete the af_proxy_cmd.exe and run the patch again.

Works fine.
