the site in beta but it works very well.
I expected to see more
There are some good sites on there, but they are lacking top file servers: zippy, tus, soidfiles and get

That's why I always use http://mirrorcreater.com

I'm grateful for the efforts of those who came before me and have put so much time into adding value to this awesome forum.

NonConformer's contribution and efforts at BBHF are clearly impressive and above reproach.

Admittedly, I 'nearly' committed a crime myself a few hours ago. I was in the DL section, and posted that I couldn't locate a PW. 5 minutes later, I came across this helpful thread written by NonConformer. I'm glad I saw it. I'm glad I took the time to read it. I glad I now understand how to find a pw, and more importantly, how to contribute to this forum by mirror'ing files.

I went back to my post quickly, and edited it, recommending people read this thread.

I for one, will move forward with more effort, and a greater awareness about the concept of "contributing to the community."

A well earned rep to NC!

This thread was created before the additional sections were added to the freebies area and before the freebie section was renamed to the WSO section. Look there.

I am saving this bit about creating mirrors so I can DO it. Thanks, I will help out more, now that I have the instructions. Moving from leecher to contributor is a goal of mine, one that I WILL achieve, especially with the help of those who are kind enough to take the time to point the way! Cheers!

That's great, more mirrors are always encouraged.

There's also this tutorial that simplifies it with screen shots:

RE: WARNING TO ALL LEECHERS and NEWBIES! (Passwords and Mirrors)
Thanks buddy for the thread. I am just searching around how to contribute to the forum without much resources and mirroring is a easiest job to contribute minimum to the forum.

Great thanks to all the thread contributors out there. I am newbie here.

Currently I just +rep along the way for the contributor and will start creating mirrors. ^^

I see you raiding all of these threads and downloading tons of files while doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to contribute or help in keeping current shares alive.

If you cannot (or don't want to) share, than at least make some mirrors. It's simple and common courtesy to support the scene. You know, the one YOU are benefiting from. MAKE MIRRORS!

How hard is it to toss files onto a mirror site or even a cloud server?
http://www.mirrorcreator.com/ or http://mediafire.com/

And STOP asking for passwords!

How To QUICKLY Make Mirrors!

So, you've downloaded and repped the original file uploader, this is great and a small
token of appreciation really does help the thread starter.

The best thing you could do with the file is mirror it so if the download link in the
first post gets deleted there will be a second in your post.

First thing you need to do is go to a site that uploads the same file to
many different places, this is the easiest way to create lasting mirrors.
The best and most common sites to upload mirrors is Mirror Creator
( http://www.mirrorcreator.com/ ) and it really is so simple to do.

Click the "Upload from PC" button (Or drag and drop the file) and select the
file you'd like to mirror.

At the bottom of Mirror Creators site, you'll see a list of all the sites
it can upload too, obviously the more you tick the more mirrors will be
made, but going over the top and uploading the file to every site they
have isn't really needed. Just stick with 4 or 5.

Click "Begin Uploading" and wait for the file to upload, depending on your
Internet speed this will take between 2 and 15 minutes.

After you've done uploading you'll get a link for the mirror creator site, this
will provide everyone else with download links for that file.

Post the download link in the thread.

Other popular sites to make mirrors:
You can also use cloud servers like dropbox, box, copy.com etc. There are tons of places
that you can make mirrors.
