Why does file containing just pdfs download as and exe. file?

I don't trust rars that contain exe unless they're software. Even then I scan them with my malware/virus program. But that's just me.

There is no exe file , only pdfs inside the rar file. If you are getting exe that is the problem of the server you selected. Download from zippy or ge.tt. no exe there.

Because you're not downloading the correct file, noob.

Learn how to use a mirror site, you are obviously downloading one of the mirrors ad links for a downloader.
