Found the problem. I needed to roll back to version 3.3 of Adobe Air. They changed up the path and how shared encrypted files were used. Once I rolled back it worked.

Hope this helps someone else who might be having the same problem.

To get straight to the roaming folder hit Win key + R and then type %appdata%

Delete the old files in the appdata\roaming\Adobe\Air\ELS\ folder and
replace them with the new files found in the mediafire links.

The people that are saying it doesn't work probably because they're using a Mac computer and the "com.aligmarketing.slf" folder is located at different place.

In Mac OS X 10.9, 10.8, 10.7, 10.6 , you can find this folder here and replace it with the one that you downloaded.
Macintosh HD/Users/Home/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Air/com.aligmarketing.slf

One more thing, the system "Library" folder is hidden in Mac OS X and therefore you won't find it.
Make sure you're in "Finder", press the "option" key and then go to "Go" and you will find the "Library" there.

I have done everything and it opens well without asking for password and username. But the problem is it doesnt extract from groups,and this is when i logged in to facebook though.
I click the extract button but nothing seems to show up. what may be wrong?

I've got v2.3.2 working fine. How do you update to v2.4?

There's the usual 'Check for Updates' option at start-up but when clicked it says 'No update'.

How to get from v2.3.2 to v2.4?

Hi Guys
I have tried the method in post 1 (great share) and deleted the orignal files and added the new ones and it still asks for name and password it is v2.4
when I go back into the %appdata% the first file has changed into 4.0.0.1390 with todays date on it the other 3 have 23/04/13 is that how it is supposed tobe?
