Udemy Section RULES >>READ THIS FIRST!<<
[align=center][color=#ff00ff][size=xx-large][b]please follow the rules stated below
when using this section:[/b][/size][/color][/align][align=center][color=#ff00ff][size=x-large][b]
[/b][/size][/color][/align][align=center][b][size=xx-large] [i]The rules apply to everyone new and old
members. [/i][/size][/b]
[b][i]
[/i][/b]
[align=left][b][size=x-large][color=#ffff00][1] When you want to create a thread please add
the following tag in the beginning:[/color][/size][/b]

[size=large][b][GET][/b] – For a new udemy coupon, use the actual name of the
course afterwards. Adding the price of the course is optional but appreciated[/size]

[size=large]Example: [GET] How to Earn 1 Million Dollars a Day (49$)[/size]

[size=large][b][DISCOUNT][/b] or [b][DIS][/b] - For a discounted course, use the
actual name of the course afterwards. Please add the discount number at the end[/size]

[size=large]Example: [DISCOUNT] How to Earn 1 Million Dollars a Day (50% off)[/size]

[b][size=x-large][color=#ffff00][2] NO MORE [REQ] THREADS!!![/color] [/size][/b]

[size=large]People share coupons that they find online… they DON’T create them[/size][/align][align=left][size=large]out of thin air… creating request threads is simply useless… if
someone finds a coupon for the course you want, he / she will share it
regardless of whether you requested it or not.[/size][/align][align=left][size=large]
[/size][/align][align=left]
[size=x-large][color=#ff0000][b][3] NO SELLING ACCOUNTS / METHODS / OR ANYTHING IN THIS SECTION![/b][/color][/size]
[/align][align=left][size=x-large][color=#ff0000][b]
[/b][/color][/size][/align][align=left][size=x-large][color=#ffff00][b][4] before posting please use "search" to check if the[/b][/color][/size]
[size=x-large][color=#ffff00][b]course was posted already[/b] [/color][/size][/align][align=left][color=#ffff00][size=x-large]
[/size][/color][/align][align=left][size=large](how I do it: copy
the title of the course in " ..." click search and voila..)

A) if the course
was posted already and I found new code:

go to existing thread and post new code under this thread

DON'T CREATE A NEW THREAD EVEN IF THE CODE IS DIFFERENT FROM THE ORIGINAL ONE!

Sometimes the
author gives new code after few weeks or even months so it's obvious the code
is gonna be different from the first one.

B) if you didn't
find the course through "search" which means it's something new, only
then create a new thread.[/size]

[b][size=x-large][color=#ffff00][5] Coupon codes with affiliate links are NOT ALLOWED![/color][/size][/b]

[size=large]If you want to share a coupon, share it for free.[/size]

[size=x-large][color=#ffff00][b][6][/b] [b]DO NOT post FREE courses that are available to everyone [/b][/color][/size][/align][align=left][color=#ffff00][size=x-large][b]on[/b] [b]udemy [/b][/size][b][size=small][size=x-large]unless they will become paid courses in [/size][/size][/b][b][size=small][size=x-large]the future.[/size][/size][/b][/color][/align]
[align=left]
[size=large]Check the following thread
for the top free coupons:[/size][/align]
[align=left][size=large][url]http://bestblackhatforum.com/Thread-Top-free-courses-of-Udemy-400-courses[/url][/size][/align]

[align=left][size=large]or you can go directly to udemy:[/size]

[url=https://www.udemy.com/courses/top-free][size=large]https://www.udemy.com/courses/top-free[/size][/url]

[size=x-large][color=#ffff00][b][7] If you appreciate a contribution feel free to rep the person
who shared the coupon[/b], [b]leaving a meaningful comment is also[/b][/color][/size][/align][align=left][size=x-large][color=#ffff00][b]appreciated.[/b][/color][/size]

[size=x-large][b][color=#ffff00][8] Leaving reviews on courses help instructors attract
more clients and might persuade even more instructors to share new coupons. So don’t hesitate to leave a review in the course (after you watched the course) and in the coupon thread.[/color][/b]
[/size]

[size=x-large][b][color=#ffff00][9] there will be NO ripping of courses in this section… we want instructors to share as much coupons as possible… ripping their courses after you get the course will only deter them from sharing coupons in the future. We always get similar courses from different instructors all the time… YOU DON’T HAVE TO GET ALL THE COURSES ALL THE TIME.[/color][/b]
[/size]

[align=center][b][size=large]If you have any questions regarding the rules you are
free to contact me. [/size][/b][/align][/align][/align]

RE:
Of course that I agree :) -> I thought mods were reading this earlier ;) but well... Count me as a huge fan of the idea.

I'd add also:
- proper naming thread guide. I suggest: [GET]/[REQ]/[DIS] (discount) and proper name of the course (copy pasted from Udemy) and (price in $ or discount in %) (it'll be easier to search);
- no 1%-74% coupons for courses. The best are general coupons (like "cybermon" (75%) yesterday that worked on almost everything) and 50% is what everybody can get if they kindly write instructor on Udemy;
- rips subject should handled - but that's probably topic for HUUGE discussion cause even back then was no clearness. Ones write requests for rips - others are answering: "No rips" - that should be clarified and also put in rules;
- some guide for using search and how to spoiler/unspoiler links (some wise guy/gal should add this there, I think);
- topic of self promotion and aff codes should be addressed also.

That's all I can come up with right now. I'm eager to read other replies :)

[/quote]OH... i get it... then as a member of this forum i just need to shut the f**k up... just because it's not my forum i don't get to say anything...

i'm sorry but that's just not how i roll...

we are a community and we should act in ways that benefit this forum and make us grow, rules help us do exactly that and there's no reason why an admin, a mod or anyone else wouldn't agree with that... plus that's why i asked people to share their opinions and then present it to the people in charge... while i don't get to change or add the rules myself... doesn't mean i can't try and influence the ones who can.

let me be clear (and i think most people understand it already)... NO ONE IS TRYING TO LIMIT THE NUMBER OF COUPONS SHARED... in fact
by creating an order we might get even more coupons in the future... more people get to enjoy them...

i heard that reddit is actually filtering the udemy coupons as spam and so we can take advantage of this situation and become the alternative...
the place where instructors get to share their coupons... its a win win situation.

of course, that's your opinion and you are entitled to it... but i believe your whole concept is wrong...
don't be a sheep... lead your future!

[align=center][size=medium]This is not about limiting anything!
This is about organizing this section so it's clean and clear for everyone who wants to contribute as well as use it - so posting new codes and finding courses becomes fast and effortless.

as [/size][size=medium]cautiontapedmummy mentioned in one post the other day:

[/size]
[size=medium]"This area of the forum is for [u]PAID[/u] courses that you have a coupon for... there is NO value shared, when you simply pollute the forum with FREE stuff."

I agree with that! Everyone can go to the udemy and look for free courses! They are available there all the time!
Everyone who contributes here with codes spends HIS VALUABLE TIME to look around the web for new codes so everyone can profit from cause we know that not everyone can afford the prices from that courses + sharing is carrying and this is what this community is about. :)

And I agree with CitizenKane WE NEED RULES here!

Not because we said so - it's because it's easier to work - both share and use, we don't loose our time for BS and writing under each post to make the rules clear.

We have total mess here now. Some of courses have few threads, there are tons of free courses which are clogging the search results etc.

It's really time consuming to get over it and to be honest speaking for myself now: I am more than happy to share what I am finding online with you all but if this takes me more than half an hour to get to the point in finding threads and comparing which was the first posted here cause I see 5 of them posted by 5 different people - so I can post the codes I found - honstly - I don't find joy in that anymore. I don't have extra time on my hands to spend here hours only to go through all this mess - with all the respect to all who are contributing here.
We are the community, it gives a lot of pleasure to share but it's also our responsibility to value our mutual time and efforts! Please people DO RESPECT everyones time! - this is the only one thing in life we can't get more or buy more! There is NO FREAKIN CODE FOR THAT! :)

To all who are contributing here - I would love first to say THANK YOU GUYS FOR YOUR TIME AND EFFORTS!
I know that you could do 100 other things in this time which probably gives you as much fun as sharing! :)
I am sure there are a lot of people who do appreciate your hard work and your skills. I do too. :)

However, to respect our time and get over all emotions around the mess we can set some general rules that are gonna give benefit to all of us.

From my side:

1. before posting please use "search" to check if the course was posted already
(how I do it: copy the title of the course in " ..." click search and voila..)

A) if the course was posted already and I found new code:
go to existing thread and post new code under this thread

DON'T CREATE A NEW THREAD EVEN IF THE CODE IS DIFFERENT FROM THE ORIGINAL ONE!

Sometimes the author gives new code after few weeks or even months so it's obvious the code is gonna be different from the first one.

B) if you didn't find the course through "search" which means it's something new, only then create a new thread.

2. Please use the name of the course as it appears originally at Udemy. Don't make your own version just to look different on the wall but when you click it to check it appears to be the same course that was already posted 5 times (example: piano lessons! :) )

It also helps us to find course when we got new code, if it has different title than orginal one we think - there is nothing like that here and we are creating a new thread which is again duplicate and misleading.

3. Please don't post FREE courses that are free and available to everyone like CRAZY creating 10 threads in 10 minutes!
Again, we can create ONE thread for that so if someone found something extremely valuable he can share it there but for the rest it's gonna be obvious that nothing gonna happen if he decide to check this course tomorrow. ;)

4. REPs

I can spek here for myself: if I see someone posted new code to one of my threads I give 5 reps and I know others do the same so don't worry about your rep if this is the point - if you brought the new code those people who are giving reps are gonna give you reps. so no worry here :)

I think that's my first thoughts. I am curious about other opinions here.

Least but not last I would love to thank you all and each of you for your reps and comments under my threads.
Appreciate them all a lot! :)
I am sorry if I not always answer each of you but as I said at the beginning my time here is limited so I spend it mostly on lookin for codes and sharing! But I am always happy to see that you guys benefit from that. You are very welcome :)

now, for all who doesn't know how it works - we don't get codes - we find them around the web and share here, so please save your time for writing a request for new code if you didn't get it this time (I don't get some courses as well cause I am too late) we can't provide new codes if the existing one doesn't work anymore. Majority of us are not instructors and we have NO influence on how many codes are available for free nor we can give more although we would love to do so.
BUT as soon as we find a new code we gonna post it here. :)

Ok guys this is the longest post I ever wrote.
Good luck with hunting both codes and courses and thank you for your time reading this.

:)

RE:
Agree with all those that are saying stop posting the free courses (non paid). It is easy enough for anyone to search on Udemy to find these for themselves.
This should be for coupons to get the paid courses either for free or for a big discount.

Also, agree with not creating a new thread when you find a new coupon for a course that already has a thread. If everyone uses the Udemy course name when creating a thread then it should be easy enough to search to see if it is listed. If it's already here then just add a post on the thread.

RE:
Everyone likes a good deal, right? Bring on the coupons =D!

And, if you are thinking Udemy doesn't like coupon sharing forums, you are wrong... it [u]LOVES[/u] forums, like [u]BBHF[/u], with members from around the world talking about them. Why do you think many Udemy course creators visit here to share their coupons? I have only seen them visit places with the most reach, like: Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, OzBargin, and BBHF...

The ONLY rule EVERYONE should keep is: If you [u]TAKE[/u] the coupon deal, [u]GIVE BACK SOME LOVE[/u] by giving some feedback to help the creator out, ASAP.

That keeps the coupons coming :)
