Thank you, Theo and Layna—max reps to both of you, seriously.

To reciprocate (because gratitude should come with actual value), I can put together a condensed set of notes on all five books if there’s interest. Like, streamlined, useful, no-fluff notes.

And also—because my brain doesn’t really do “idle mode”—I’m always up for a new challenge. So if you have any creative ideas on how I could use these books with AI to help people, I am very, very open to brainstorming.

@Ghost Fox: I'm replying to your offer both here on the thread, as well as to the PM you sent me.

That sounds like a really cool idea, my friend.

And here's what I recommend...

I would first gauge interest before doing the work, if you plan to share it on BBHF.

In the past, I have done work that interested me very much that I felt could be helpful to others on this platform. I found the response to be lacking.

I can almost depend on enthusiastic feedback from the same people who follow my threads, post kind remarks to my shares or add to my rep count. But, when asking for feedback on a forum like this one, the general consensus would be luke-warm to none.

I don't know if that is the result of simple disinterest or that most people aren't here to engage but to fill their hard drive and will post only for something they're looking for or bump something that others want.

Now, to be fair, my case is a bit different from what you're offering. I believe you're wanting to provide a one-time publication, whereas, my project was a recurring digital newsletter.

It was a labor of love to produce and distribute my Layna's Links Letter a few years ago.

But it required extra time and effort to research all those links. It took time to add my own commentary, proofread and edit the document in MS Word, convert it to PDF and email it to the many forum users who gave me permission to send it.

And I did that ...Every. Single. Month.

But it wasn't very long before it came to feel like a J-O-B.

So, especially if what you're thinking of doing requires extra time and energy, I would recommend posting one of those little BBHF polls that attaches as a header to a thread's original post, where you can ask for reader feedback.

You can give readers the option to vote whether they're interested or may possibly be interested to gauge interest as either strong or tepid. I don't think you need an option for not interested because those in that category can simply not respond.

If you need more detailed feedback, you can ask voters to post to the thread.

Be very clear in describing what you're planning to offer. Give the poll a reasonable timeline (3 weeks to a month) to collect enough feedback. During that time, you can be pulling together an outline for the document.

When the poll expires, you can use any feedback you get to inform your decision whether to move forward with it.

This is probably a lot more than you asked for but I wanted you to know that my reply is based on personal experience.

Hi Ghost Fox and Layna-

Ghost Fox- I fully agree with and support everything Layna advised here- In fact, that is the #1 first thing lesson we all receive as soon as you dip your toe in the "Marketing World"-

Heck that was the first thing i think I learned from Gary Halbert (both in person and through his videos/audios)- It was his "Hamburger Stand" example- Simply, he asked everyone- If you were going to open up a hamburger stand, what is the #1 thing you would want to insure success?

Think about it if you don't know this exercise yet-

Is it the best burger on the planet?

The best location possible?

The best and brightest (yellow) sign that screams "Hamburger?"

Great reputation online? (There was barely an "online" during the last few years of Gary's life, most of his work was in the brick and mortar, or actually, Mail Order world...)


NO- NONE of these things are what you want- What you want is-

A STARVING CROWD!

So what am I rambling about here? I'm just reinforcing what our esteemed (and my friend) Layna is saying-

DO some RESEARCH- MAKE SURE that people ACTUALLY WANT what you're about to pour your blood, sweat and tears into- This is the fatal flaw of so many "would-be" entrepreneurs- They THINK they know what other people would want, often because it is what THEY would want, but then you show it to the public, and all you get is one, giant YAWN...

So make sure people actually want this-

THEN, my simple recommendation is- To take most if not all of the labor off of your back- Let AI do ALL of the legwork- Maybe you already had this in mind-

I use ChatGPT for a lot of work these days- Really just to make my life easier- This is how I get through so many Youtube videos I want to watch, but don't have endless hours to spend-

I always grab the Transcript of the Youtube video- put it into a Word doc-

Then I load it into Chat and ask it to give me a detailed comprehensive summary of all of the main points of the video-

THEN, once Chat has done that, it always asks me if I want to turn the document and/or summary into a Coaching course, tool, teaching manual, what have you-

I'm not talking about IP (Intellectual Property) theft, I'm not talking about taking people's ideas- This is for my personal use- But that's not the point- I bring it up to suggest this if you haven't already done this with Chat or whatever tool you use- For every 1 hour Youtube video I don't have the time to watch (unless I want to for "infotainment) Chat takes about 1 minute or so to provide all of this for me-

And so, you can load all of Samuel C.'s books, and do the same- So then, if it turns out NOBODY is interested in this idea (which I kind of doubt there will be NO interest) - Then you will have spent about 3 minutes of your precious life's time, to find out that your idea wasn't as valid as you thought-
