Frankly speaking, the only thing that these micro gigs are ever good for, is to just leave behind some backlinks. Of course, one can always get lucky and make a once in a blue moon sale or two.

I'd say her method would work. But, she forgot to metion one very key detail - it costs money to create youtube views/twitter follows (for the gig owner), and the profit iis $5 - Fiverr commission - cost which is about $0.75 per gig of 5000 youtube views.

and not like she calculated, profit = $5 x number-of-gigs !
