Files in the mega folder disappeared out of the blue

Hey so i got this course which i was looking for quite some time. I could only download a part of it because of the usage limit.

The next day all the folders are empty.

Generally the link is disabled when something happens but in this case the folders are without any files.

Can someone tell me why did this happen?

And how to fix the link?

Hi rikesh_kuma, from your statement above which you mention this:

--> it is more than 24 hours already.

This happens when

1) The owner of the mega account decided to disable the link after 24 hours, there is a feature for premium account that let you decide what date and what time it will expire.

2) The owner of the mega account, his mega account itself was been disabled due to multiple dmca violations and as a result the whole mega files on his/her account is gone, although the link is still active but the files itself are gone.

3) The files was been moved on another location by owner and forgot to delete the folder or mega itself reported it thru previous hash report and files was been detected as dmca protected, they had this algorithm if files are reported many times, the next time you upload it, it wont last 24 hours it is deleted, so to solve it rename the files or reupload it again and make the files for private share not on public share, it will seems to last long as expected.

Suggestion is to move on or let me know what course is it? I am in good mood here on BBHF right now. I can reupload it back for you here on BBHF even if your not BBHF VIP and just regular member here as long as i have it. no problem i still have plenty of time for now :)

What course are you looking for post the link.
You can create mega account and import the whole course folder first, then you can download slowly.

You can also bypass mega limit by restarting router, changing ip address, using vpn. You can search how to bypass mega download limit.

You can use jdownloader or megadownloader to download from mega.

Just found out that if the file is gone/deleted from copyright/dmca complaint etc even if you import it to your MEGA account it can no longer be downloaded even if it shows up in your account folder.

So you waste space in your account with a file that you can't download or remove.

Make mirrors as fast as possible guys. Find someplace to store it first before it is taken offline by complaints from their owners.

Get a cheap thumbdrive to use if you don't have harddisk space.

128GB drives go for ~$15 USD when there's offer or cheaper. 1TB drives around $70-80. Get from reputable brands as knockoffs can be a hit or miss. Sandisk, Samsung, PNY are all go choices.

If you are late to the party and the file is gone post a request in the Request thread again.

Also you can search for mirror downloads in the original thread in the lower right corner of the thread. There is a search box there for this purpose. It's above the Quick Reply box.

I have had this happen before, chalked it up to dmca takedowns, dropped someone a link within a day they say its empty and had to reup chalked it up to the dmca but there was no message like usual
