[REVIEW] TRYING TO DECIDE ON A DEBRID APP? YOU'VE GOT CHOICES!
TRYING TO DECIDE
ON A DEBRID APP?

You've Got Choices!

As many of you (who read my posts) know, I'm a big fan of Real-Debrid. It's a tool that "unrestricts" a premium link (such as Rapid.gator, Up.loadgig and other file share hosts that you must have a paid account with to use). By unrestricting it, it actually strips away the digital rights management (DRM) code embedded in the link to make the download usable by anyone who has it, without needing a paid link account.

A good multi-host debrid tool is even better because it supports a variety of host servers. So instead of having a debrid tool that converts only Rapid.gator, you need one that supports many different premium link hosts. That way, if you find that one link is dead, you can use a corresponding link for a missing file part on another host server to replace it.

The end result is, your debrid tool enables that premium link to become as useful as a Mediafire, Mega or other "free-to-use" download link.

Just this morning, I saw a YouTube video where someone demonstrates another debrid tool I'd never heard of. It's called Debrid-Link. So I signed up for a free user account to "test drive" it.

It was as easy to use as my favored Real-Debrid but I kept getting errors (ex: You must be premium to download from that link)...no matter which file host link I used. And that didn't sit well with me. It made me think this "free to test drive" was bullshit and just a front to get you in and make you pay premium to get any link to work.

Well, I've put Debrid-Link aside for the moment. I may just convert my freebie account to premium because they support so many different host servers. And the review (see link below) speaks highly of that service.

So I went searching for something that reviews debrid apps in general. I'm thinking, more of you would invest the pittance it costs to get your own debrid app if you knew more about how it works. So I found a few reviews --- written and video --- that I think will help.

For example, on a Reddit thread, someone named CrazyAgile wrote a fairly comprehensive review of several debrid apps that could help make up your mind.

Like I said, I absolutely 61heart Real-Debrid. So far, I haven't had any issues with it. And their customer support is solid.

My very first experience with a debrid tool several years ago was Deepbrid. And it was very good --- until it wasn't.

One day, all of a sudden and for no good reason, the app failed to convert links from file share hosts it definitely supported. And it gave confusing error messages such as "host server unavailable."

That statement told me nothing...but when I put those very same links into Real-Debrid, they converted flawlessly and I got the download!

So even great-working apps can turn on your in an instant. Be prepared. Debrid apps are afforable enough that you can have a mainstay "go-to" for your daily needs but another as an extra waiting in the background for unexpected issues with the first one.

Over time, with all the error messages and failed conversions, Deepbrid quickly went south. I read somewhere that new management was the issue.

What's worse, their customer support was a joke --- no one ever got back to you when you reported a problem. So did what any sane person does when the relationship no longer works. I divorced them.

In all honesty, I don't know what Deepbrid is like today. It could be better than ever before but the damage had already been done and moving forward, I won't be looking to use them again.

And while I love Real-Debrid, it's always good to have a side-piece in your back pocket. You never know when something that works great will all-of-a-sudden (and for no good reason) start to act a fool.

But if you don't think you need a debrid tool, think again.

There are dozens of websites that post premium links to download most of the guru's paid courses for free.

I've found many course downloads that were not on a file share website, simply by typing in a Google search a premium host URL along with a marketer's name or title of a course or even a generic keyword to describe what I'm looking for. That simple little search always brings up a few valuable downloads I am always surprised to see. But without a debrid app, I'm left with premium links I cannot use.

A good debrid tool is inexpensive, user-friendly and will get you the download you need (so long as the files are on the host's server). Most of them support non-premium links as well, such as Mediafire and Mega. You can also convert links from Scribd, Vimeo and others.

What I really like about Real-Debrid is when you convert a Mega link, it removes the file size limitations that Mega imposes when you download directly from Mega.nz. Instead, you can download large courses without waiting 24 hours to resume them.

Modern marketing courses today are larger than ever and many of you on BBHF post asking for these oversized files.

Problem is, help is hard to get when Mega and Mediafire will quickly remove pirated file links to keep from getting sued. Very few people will spend their time uploading and re-uploading large files that keep getting removed. Having your very own debrid app gives you the ability to get what you want without asking anyone to intervene.

So, if you're in the market for a debrid app (and if you've ever posted for any of those huge "guru-type" tutorials, YOU ARE)...please read the reviews I just linked you to above. They will help you to decide which application is best suited to your particular needs.

Thankyou for such an interesting review.
Much appreciated.

May I ask, is there a downloader for videos (other than jdownloader)
with the DEBRID APP?
