I ran this in Avast Sandbox. It is version 1.0.9.8. So either this guy is misleading everyone, or he was mislead, and shared here without checking. I am still investigating the file. The file was already analyzed by VirusTotal a while back. You guys know you can analyze the file yourself at virustotal.com right? Do NOT scan the whole rar or zip file! Instead, extract the exe out and submit that to be scanned! While they can use DLL injection, include a DLL with malicious code, and add it into the PE to be included... it's a lot less common. Most advanced virus guys are not infecting Internet Marketing apps. The ones doing so, are 12 year old kids who don't know shit. Well, however when I was 12/13 I was already programming in 2 languages lmao :) Anyways, the VT is here: https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/62269.../analysis/ It's 1/47. It is detected by Avast, which is IMO the best out there. However given the age of the file (end of 2012) and only 1 AV picks it up, odds are its a false positive. On a side note, this version is Old as Hell :) I swear I cracked this not too long ago? Can probably find a more updated version than this. I vote for closing this thread because: 1) The OP mislead us with the wrong version number 2) The version is old already So lets reduce the clutter, and not let just anything clogg up space. Especially old, outdated, mislabeled, stuff. |
