My brief review:
The software is nifty in that you can get a ton of great keyword suggestions based on queries often typed in by real users, and many of these terms do not show up in the Google Keyword Tool, which means less competition. I like that you can place an asterisk before, in between, or after your seed keyword(s) in order to get suggestions for accompanying keywords in each of those positions. UberSuggest (a great free online tool) performs a similar function, but it only offers suggestions on keywords positioned directly after your seed keyword(s). I do like having a software tool ready to go on my hard drive to perform this task. Unfortunately there are several problems with the Keyword Suggest software... first of all why does it require 264 MB on my hard drive?!! Secondly, there is no way to clear your results list without shutting down and restarting the software, or manually dragging and highlighting the results (or using CTRL+A) and deleting them - but this does not reset the displayed total keyword count. Thirdly, the Analysis box produces inaccurate results... usually displaying search counts thousands higher than the numbers displayed in the Google Keyword Tool. The CPC numbers also don't agree with the GKT. Note that you need to go into your Google Adwords account and select "ALL Columns" before logging in with the Keyword Suggest software, otherwise the CPC function will not work at all (it will only display "EMPTY"). The Analysis function is also fairly slow and the so-called "KEI" gives a widely fluctuating range of results - not something I would trust as a barometer of competition for a given keyword. Undoubtedly there will be updates and improvements to this software and I am looking forward to that. Until then it is still marginally handy. HTH.
