They now have the software checking their server and then hosts so you have to turn off host to boot software, then turn it back on. Its pinging their server for a response, if it gets it, then the software continues. Basically, we need to sniff the packets to see what the response is.

Hi, I have seo power suite working on my laptop with windows xp but i struggle to do the same on new laptop with windows 8 .
Is there something else I have to do ?
I found host file on windows 8 and did excactly same things as on windows xp but it still connects to their server.
Please help

Ok.

I got the program to finally work. For those non-techies feel free to message me if you need assistance.

The program will access your hosts files and internet and this will prevent you from running it, also to avoid conflicts with my antivirus blah blah. I installed the program on vmware running windows pro sp2, no antivirus installed whatsoever.

Follow the steps as directed on the very first post. Generate your key, put it in and then close the program after it confirms that the key works. Do not run reports or try to do anything with the program until you follow my additional steps. Powersuite validates hosts records and licenses as soon as its open again by using your internet.

Additional Steps:

1. Close the program after generating the key
2. Download Program: Hostsman from abelhadigital (Google is your friend)
3. Download Program: Network Controller from Murgee (Google is your friend)
4. Run Hostsman and disable your host file
5. Run Murgee Network Controller and disable your network controller
6. Open any program from Powersuite
7. After your program opens, go back to your Murgee Network Controller and enable your network controller
8. Run your reports!

Follow Step 4-8 to every time you want to make this work!

is there some one can help me here?

I've run website auditor to audit one of my website
after that my website front page became wretched
specially when opened with firefox
there's become alot of error and warning with my css as shown in w3c page referring to my web page
before doing website auditor my website page just fine

is there a way to reverse back my website to the state before I did website auditor
I've replaced with backup but it's still not work
my web page still showing the UI after doing website auditor

i setup in win8, i stuck on this part
4. Download and install PRIVOXY
5. Go to the privoxy install dir and search for the file user.action.

can some one tell me how to solve this problem.
