What? No Pink Flamingos?
A movie so bad, that I swear if I ever meet the director in person, I'll assault him! With a chainsaw!!!

Also, Valhalla Rising is another movie that makes me want to the director.

Avoid that movie! Trust me!!!

In the Name of the King should have been listed in that book too!

But hey, I give the guy props for being able to sit through all those awful movies! I know I couldn't do it.

I have seen enough bad movies in the last couple of decades to be of the opinion that MOST movies in recent times are nothing more than mind-numbing distractions. The TV has been called "The Idiot Box" for a reason. Instead of giving us information and entertainment, it can skew our views and it wastes valuable time.

I see that someone mentioned Krampus in a post. I saw that movie. In fact, I try to see it every Christmas. I'm not sure if there was more than one but I'm talking about the original Krampus, with Toni Collette (I love her over-the-top acting!) as the protagonist.

Yes, it was campy but fun and entertaining.

There were some hilarious parts throughout the movie (the fight with the gingerbread man) but it was the somber backstory of the German grandmother's first encounter with Krampus as a very young girl in her native country. The monster took both her parents but left her --- giving her a devilish wink as he left her alive, but an orphan.

I've seen a lot worse. I can tell you that, as a scary movie buff, I signed up for Hulu, Netflix, Shudder, Tubi and other streaming apps yet, I can't tell you the last time I watched a thoroughly enjoyable, edge-of-your-seat thriller with a solid plot and interesting characters. Everything's formulaic and the actors all look like high school kids and everybody sounds like a sack of cats fighting to break free. Too much time is wasted on scenes where absolutely nothing happens. And most streaming services want good money for movies I last saw some 30 to 40 years ago (and don't ever want to see again).

Movies in the theaters aren't much better.
