How to ensure that the theme does not have any scripts that are tampered with. I recently had a bad expeience using a theme from wplocker; my site got hacked with thousands of posts that were redirecting traffic to bad sites.

Mate In addition to using these themes for my own and my clients' projects, we have not encountered any issues to date. We've performed a VirusTotal scan prior to release, but nobody can guarantee 100% safety in the free world. I can guarantee only one thing: we did not introduce any scripts or backdoors.
