RE: [GET] 12 MONTHS TO $1 MILLION... AND MORE!
Hey Layna-

Thanks so much for this! What a massive share as usual, but for me anyway the timing was perfect lol as I had started reading the book about a week ago and then I saw the share which exploded the content in a million different directions!

Not enough time in the day (or life!) to go through everything here right now but I sure want to- Let the unwashed masses squander their time on more and more Netflix binges (although I do have a few choice shows as any red-blooded citizen of planet earth does) but neither Tiger King, Squid Games, Ozark, or Stranger Things is going to put one penny more in your pocket (OK, I'll admit the Michael Jordan documentary was awesome and I've gone through it a couple times)...

But as usual- I DIGRESS! It seems whenever we get into a conversation (although clearly I'm the only one talking here!) I can go on and on!

Anyway hope you've been cooking up some amazing dishes these days and life is going (relatively) well- Besides paying $5.00 for spaghetti! (Or was that just me?)

Thank you for this!!

RE: [GET] 12 MONTHS TO $1 MILLION... AND MORE!

Looks like I've been away and missed some of the posts to this thread. I need to thank a few folks who posted, answer a question I didn't know needed my attention and ask about something a reader posted to my thread (I'm inquisitive, is all).

@All: I want to say "Thank You!" to everyone who posted their feedback. I use information like this to decide what and how much I share on BBHF.

@Leozinho: Sorry I didn't notice your post earlier or I would have responded to your question. The next time you need my attention, please, contact me by PM.

UPDATE NOTE: I just tried to send you a PM to let you know I'm answering your question. There is no PM enabled --- only a link to your email and when I click it, the forum throws me out with a permission denied message. So please don't post a question if you don't want to communicate via PM. Some of us have a life outside of this forum and can't waste time jumping through hoops to reach you. Hopefully, you will see the answer here but if not, maybe someone else will benefit from the time I took to compile this.

Okay, you asked: "Is there any way to access the other summaries from summaries.com?"

I'm not sure which "other summaries" you are referring to. I can only assume you're asking about ANY of the other summaries on summaries.com, so I'll try to respond to that.

First, let me give you the big-picture answer...

You can sign up for a free account at summaries.com here:

GO HERE:
Magic Button :
Code:
.
https://summaries.com/
.

Hopefully, that answers your question.

Additionally, the searches I'll show you farther below will bring up downloads in the "public" area of summaries.com that anyone can access.

Don't hold me to it but, I believe that signing up for a free account will give you access to downloads not available to the general public. I don't use this site and don't have an account, so it's likely I don't know what I'm talking about --- so check it out and see for yourself.

HOW TO SEARCH ON SUMMARIES.COM

You can use Google to search for whatever you're looking for. It would help me to have an example of what it is you're looking for so that my instructions would benefit you more.

But in general, yes, there is a way (possibly more than one) you can use to get more "stuff" from summaries.com...

Go to Google and search like this:

The results above show links to download the one-page summary of Jim Edwards' Copywriting Secrets. To save time, I include the download link below for anyone who wants it.

Here's what the summary of Jim Edwards' Copywriting Secrets looks like:

JIM EDWARDS - COPYWRITING SECRETS - SUMMARIES.COM
Magic Button :
Code:
.
https://public.summaries.com/files/1-page-summary/copywriting-secrets.pdf
.

And here's another goodie I picked up by substituting "16 page sales letter" for "copywriting"... a summary of Dan Kennedy's The Ultimate Marketing Plan:

You can download that summary here:

DAN KENNEDY - THE ULTIMATE MARKETING PLAN - SUMMARIES.COM
Magic Button :
Code:
.
https://public.summaries.com/files/1-page-summary/the-ultimate-marketing-plan.pdf
.

You can substitute the keyword "copywriting" with any product, marketer or niche category you want. You may need to play with this a while to tweak it until Google returns more of the kinds of results you expect.

REMINDER: Be mindful of which links you click. You will get a "mixed bag" (links from many different websites) in the results. Look for links that contain the site: public.summaries.com to be sure you're downloading from the right source.

Let me know if this helps. And (again) I respond sooner to PMs than trying to back-track to an old thread where I may never see your inquiry.

@Stratoto: I'm confused. I could understand if you posted YOUR opinion of the book here, as a benefit to others but, (unless you're "Michael"), what is the meaning of posting a single customer review link from Amazon on this thread when the vast majority of Amazon customers gave the book a good rating?

To be fair, people are entitled to their opinions. Unfortunately, today's technology enables them to annoy the rest of the world with them. Like Dirty Harry once said, "Opinions are like ass holes... everybody has one."

Value is in the eye of the beholder, I suppose. Usually people who fail to see value in something may not be able to see value in anything. Nonetheless, Amazon's analytics tells us that the negative review had some impact: "330 people found this helpful."

The reviewer sounds like a generally negative-Neil (It's a male so I can't say Negative Nelly). He even bashes the 5-star reviews as "people who have never sold on Amazon" just because his shit isn't selling. Some of those 5-star reviews may be from people this book inspired to follow Ryan Daniel Moran's "journey" to see if they can realize his success for themselves.

But wait! There's more...

He goes further to say the author is "referring to his experience as an Amazon seller."

DOH! No shit, Sherlock!

Who else's experience would he write about?! Most authors write about THEIR OWN experience, unless they say the book is made up of interviews conducted with successful people.

Since the book's title is 12 Months to $1 Million, the author SMARTLY chose to focus on explaining how he achieved that.

The reviewer even seems to fault the author for having a catchy title by saying "The hook is in the title." Well, there's something he got right.

This book wasn't intended to cover EVERYTHING Amazon, such as "how the platform works" or pitfalls to look out for as the reviewer seems to expect it to.

There are too many other books that make those topics their focus and this reviewer seems to not even understand this. You're not going to get a full treatment of a topic from a single book!

And people like this reviewer demonstrates just how damaging it can be to give everybody a platform to publicize their inner thoughts. No author is going to satisfy every reader's expectations. No book is going to span the globe in their treatment of a topic.

And not everybody needs to have their opinions heard.

That reviewer has an unreasonable expectation of what this book intended to deliver and that review only makes him look ignorant.

Anyhow --- I just wondered why that link was posted when the book has clearly earned far more 5-star ratings (84 percent!) than the grand total of 7 percent of customers who rated it 3 of 5 stars or lower?!

And... if you were to add to the 84 percent the 4-star reviews (which I think you should because 4/5 stars is very good!) this book garnered a 93 percent approval rating. So the paltry few discontented customers paled in overall comparison.

Some people don't see value in anything --- that's not an indictment on the "thing" itself but rather, on their small-minded, negative perception of "things."

@Theo1: Hey there, buddy! Sorry about the late reply but yes, I've been cooking up a storm.

I've been trying out recipes I find in YouTube videos but I will be turning that interest down a few notches since the 2022 NFL season is getting underway (preseason games begin later this week!).

For one recipe, I made the most authentic-looking and supremely delicious shrimp-fried rice dish. It came out so well, I simply HAD to immortalize it in a photo to share with my sister back home in Louisiana.

Take a look...

For some meals, I paired it with sweet-and-spicy salmon (another YouTube video recipe that turned out great!); other times, the rice was the entrée with a small side Caesar salad.

Absolutely delicious!

This version of the recipe called for rice, peas, carrots, shrimp, shallots and sesame oil with a few dehydrated seasonings. It also called for scrambled eggs but I omitted that because I don't eat scrambled egg.

The 3 cups of rice in that recipe literally morphed into a VAT of rice that I wish I could have shared but (since I retired) all of my friends and loved ones live too far away. Let's just say I am pretty much "riced out" by now.

So, on to the next recipe...

Thanks
for liking my shares!
