haha good thread and a good balance. i bet layna is regretting helping biden get elected now after she was anti trump. i mean. who in their right mind would think biden is physically and mentally fit? they talked about trump not being mentally fit? WOA! big difference. and we all know by now that any socialist supporting biden now is the literal enemy of this country right now.

i predicted a circus show a year ago and that's EXACTLY what we've been getting. can you believe it's only been a year? seems a lot longer for some reason. i try to stay out of the news as much as possible now after realizing the next 3 years wont be any different. my mental health has gone up dramatically! every once in a while, i will pipe in with a political comment. but what's the point of that anymore.

Roger Stone, a long-time adviser to former President Donald Trump, just became the latest Trump ally to refuse to cooperate with House’s Jan. 6 investigation by invoking his Fifth Amendment right to remain silent. The growing list includes John Eastman — a former law professor and legal adviser to Trump, and Jeffrey Clark, who served as an assistant attorney general from 2018 until 2021. Alex Jones, a radio show host and a staunch supporter of Trump’s re-election campaign, has also threatened to plead the Fifth in response to his own House subpoena.

While these witnesses may be able to avoid testifying before the select committee by standing on the Fifth, they are merely postponing — and perhaps increasing — their future legal woes.

On Dec. 2, committee Vice Chair Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., noted that, “People sort of talk about the Fifth Amendment without stopping to think about what he is saying if he invokes the Fifth — that he won't answer a question because he's worried about criminal prosecution.” Committee Chairman Rep. Bennie Thompson, D-Miss., struck a similar note, saying those who plead their Fifth Amendment rights in front of his committee “in some cases are part and parcel guilty to what occurred.” Trump himself famously said, “The mob takes the Fifth Amendment. If you’re innocent, why are you taking the Fifth Amendment?”


NOTE: Before you think I am a Trump basher, think again. I agree with a number of the things he tried/did do.... But the attempted insurrection was just too much. Sitting on your thumbs while cops are being beaten and the Capital is under attack is BAD.

He lost the election. He and his helpers went to the courts (Republican appointed Judges also) over 60 times and lost.

And yet he is still crying in his soup.

We live in a Democracy. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. When you lose, you suck it up and work harder so you can win next time. This is the American way. It's got nothing to do with Biden or Clinton. Just Trump.

Seeing all the stuff that is coming out. what he and the people around him did. The damage they are doing to OUR country every day. The bunch of them should go to prison.... For a long time.

Watch the video above. Listen to what Cheney is saying. They all knew what was going on, even FOX News knew what was going on. And they did NOTHING to help our Police.

You can't claim to be the "Law and Order President" and do crap like that.

My one and only comment on this pathetic showing after losing an election.

i would take the 5th all day every day against a biased house

don't forget that trump was impeached for the january 6th incident and found innocent of everything. no crime on his part. to say he was involved with what illegal activities other people did or even incited them is going against the intensive investigations to impeach a president.

twice in a term. pretty frivolous if you ask me. with all of biden's f-ups,. not once has he been impeached yet. not saying he does or doesn't deserve to be. just saying that there is a double standard.

so yea, take the 5th. why would anyone in their right mind give the house what they want. time and time again in more recent years, the house has proven to be liars and cheats and biased and both times were behind a president's impeachment which resulted in NOTHING.

also, the majority in the u.s. now would rather have the democrats our of the house according to the latest polls. everyone knows what is going on in the house. why trust it? so ofcourse take the 5th. it's the right of every citizen. might as well use it. why give up our rights? that's democrat and socialist thinking....

I don't forget that Trump was Impeached twice and history will not either. Impeachment is 2 parts. The House does the Impeachment and the Senate does the penalty. The Senate decided on Zero penalty for the acts that Trump did.

If ANY Democratic President did 1/10 of what Trump did, they would be ran out of office. Never forget the double standard that Republicans play by.

I was a Republican for many years before Trump came along. I believe in our Courts, our Police, and the Constitution.

You can not say with an honest face tht you think Trump is a good guy. If yes, why hide all the stuff he is hiding?

Remember: "What are we going to do?" - "Build a wall.", "And who is going to pay for it?" - "Mexico"... Well, it was NOT Mexico, but the US Military money that paid for the little that was built. And in the first 2 years of Trumps Presidency, he had the Senate and the House in his pocket... Even they know a Wall doesn't work.

Much better to use High Tech, infrared, heat seeking cameras to dispatch your forces than build some mega expensive wall that people and tunnel under or climb over easy.

How about "I'll release my taxes as soon as the audit is over." 5 years later and he is still fighting this in court so nobody sees the shady crap he has been doing for years.

Michael Cohen paid off Stormy Daniels right before the election and went to prison for it... Yet it was Trump that gave him the money AND did the deed. And the Church still loves this guy.... Someone that goes around and bangs anything in a skirt. Even banging prostitutes while his wife is pregnant.

And the list goes on and on.

Nope, you can continue to follow this dirt bag. Me, I will never vote for him of any of those other Republicans that have been l i c k i n g his boots every again.

Hopefully by the time the next Presidential election comes along, State level charges will have been prosecuted so we can get back to some serious work that needs to be done.

For me, Climate and China are the 2 top issues we should be working on.

My view from the UK is that the USA is in a sh1t state and going down rapidly.
The whole world can see that Biden is clearly not up to the job and is not in control.
The Afghanistan withdrawal - sorry, retreat and the abandonment of billions of dollars
of weapons and equipment and civilians was absolutely shameful.

The border is a shambles and unvetted immigrants are pouring in daily where the wall stopped.
The economy is tanking and it is just a matter of time before the dollar collapses.
Biden is the most unpopular POTUS ever and Harris - who got the job purely because of her gender
and skin colour, is so unpopular, it is causing her staff to leave rather than be associated with her.

Yet the media continue to cover-up for the two of them and NOT report anything negitive.
The same media that fabricated stories about Trump and was assisted by the FBI and CIA.
Meanwhile, Hunter is given a pass by the CIA and FBI despite being a drug addled clown and both
him and his dad are as corrupt as they come. Again, the press won't talk about it.

Biden is also a dyed-in-the-wool racist - which has been known for decades - and nobody talks about it.

As China and Russia build their military might, the US focus on trans issues in the forces and
providing flight suits for pregnant women and naming ships after gay activists.
Drone striking innocent families doesn't even merit a slap on the wrist because it is acceptable now.

Meantime the cops are the enemy and rioters and looters are heros.

America is on the path to destruction from within. China and Russia won't need to lift a finger; merely just
sit-back and watch this clown show.
The world needs a strong and trustworthy USA led by a proper leader. Right now, the USA
is neither strong nor trustworthy and Biden is no leader.

As for the Capitol riot - it's good to see that somebody had the fortitude to threaten to put their collective
foot up the arse of those warmongering, thieving, pampered career crooks in there and give them the fright
they long deserve. Those are the people who vote to invade other countries to effect regime change and
bring about 'democracy'. How's that worked out for them, then?

Millions of men, women and children died so Haliburton could cash-in big time.

Personally, I enjoyed seeing Schumer, Schiff and Nadler etc run for cover.

If us Brits had done that when we had the one million stop-the-war protest in London, and had
stormed parliament, then maybe that whole phoney, contrived and illegal Iraq war wouldn't
have happened and million of deaths would have been avoided and the 5 countries in 7 years
plan wouldn't have displaced the millions of people that are fleeing the turmoil it created, today.

The United States, in my opinion, has been the biggest threat to world peace for decades now.
The world doesn't need an administration of woke lunatics led by a sock-puppet, demented old man that can't be trusted around kids.

Personally, I would take Trump back in the whitehouse in a second.

Nice reply, but needs a few points of clarification.

Iraq War - Started by Bush - Republican.
Haliburton - Major share holder d**** Cheney - Bush time Vice President - Rupublican.
Afghanistan withdrawal - yep, bad thing. Started by a deal made by Trump with the Taliban - Trump, Republican.
If we didn't pull out now, then when? Been their for 20 years. Spending trillions. Osama bin (hiding) Laden is dead and not much more we could have done. Yes we left a pile of stuff behind, but without the parts and maintenance to keep it up, it has a very short shelf life. Upkeep and maintenance was a HUGE issue for the well trained military. How well do you think the current government that can't even feed it's own people will be able to do?
And you seem to forget that Trump unilaterally pulled out of Northern Iraq and Syria giving all of that territory back to Russian influence.

You are right, America is hurting... But China has it's own problems. Real Estate market tanking, exports way down, unemployment expected to hit 400 Million by year end.

As for you Brits... How is Brexit going for you? Everything you hoped for? Negotiations with the rest of Europe going well? Mmmmm doesn't look that way.

Biden has his issues. Granted. But a better choice than Trump. And Biden clearly said he wanted to be a transition President. We needed someone for the people to get behind so we could get Trump out. Job done. Next we need a strong leader that is concentrated on what the people need most.

As a world, if we don't face the issues happening in the environment together, then all of this will not matter.

Our entire system is based on the idea that we need to consume more and more stuff. Stop buying and everything collapses.

Moving forward we need to start doing things smarter. No stick with the old "Who has the most Bling wins" mindset. That is going to be very hard for most people as it is something that we are just not familiar with.

Since the Industrial Revolution, we have year after year gotten indoctrinated in to the buy more and more club.

But we are seeing people wake up as unemployment around the globe increases. Just look at the Tiny Home crazy going on. People want to have less, do less, and gain more freedom and not have to work 40 years for a retirement that quickly leads to death.

I have big hopes for the future. Humanity has a great future if we don't kill ourselves first.

Reading through these posts, I'm amazed at all the folks who are still just absolutely BLIND to being used and falling for the Democrats vs. Republicans . . . the right vs. left . . . men vs. women . . . black vs. white vs. brown . . . Christian vs. Muslim vs. Jew, etc.

It's ALL by design!

It's really The Rich vs. Everyone Else.

Only "everyone else" so vastly outnumber our overlords (The Rich) they have to keep us constantly divided lest we raise up and overthrow them and their luxurious lives while the rest of us fight for table scraps.

Politicians are their psychopathic employees who don't mind harming us voters in favor of The Rich as long as they "get theirs" and live a higher standard of life thanks to their overlords . . . so the rich overlords can stay hidden a little longer.

They create the rules to protect and serve their overlords. The judges (politicians wearing black robes) similarly grovel at the feet of their overlords . . . so we have a clear two-tiered "justice" system that's becoming more and more obvious!

The sooner more wake-up to reality the sooner we can achieve the 100th monkey and things can finally change for the better.

There is SO much technology we are being actively denied. It has been available to The Rich for decades, or more, but never to us commoners.

Our lives, and much more importantly to me, the lives of my children and my grandchildren, could be so different and so much better. Same for you and yours!

I stopped watching ALL mainstream propaganda years ago and have been much happier and more well-informed . . . taking responsibility for researching things that happen for myself.
