Do you mind telling me how you were able to tidy up the document? I purchased that ebook and it came with that ugly "scanned by" message and a few other eye sores. Do you use a PDF editing tool like Adobe? I've been looking at some of the free online pdf editor tools and one day, I'll get around to finding one I like but I'm asking in case you can point me to a full-featured, affordable solution (or better yet, a download). I would rather edit my PDFs on my desktop.

@poiy and pecq: The link YOU tried no longer works. So, did you try the link I shared in post #39?

Oftentimes, people simply don't go the extra step and then throw up their hands in dismay. A working link was right under your nose all along.

Here's a screen-shot of the zippy link I shared. I just opened it in a new browser window:

Then I tested the link seconds ago (8-17-2021 at 10:17 a.m. PDT) to verify that it is working. Then I opened the file on my desktop. Here is a reduced image of the front cover of the 312-page e-book on my computer's desktop:

You know, I enjoy helping others here but it pisses me off to the nth degree to have to come back again and again, spending time I don't have, when people don't bother to do what they should. To your credit, you did show the post of the link that isn't working, so that made it easier to see that you clearly didn't check the link in post #39.

Or, maybe you did and now you have the download; but you should have updated your post to say which link works. That would have been helpful to others who want the download but as it stands, your post makes it look like the download is dead on the entire thread.

@ANYONE ELSE WHO DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO USE THE FORUM: Whenever there are multiple mirrors on a thread, please check them all (or at least the most recent ones near the end of the thread) before posting that a link doesn't work.

It's one thing when none of the mirrors work but the zippy link in post #39 still works as of now. How much longer will it last, I don't know. Zippy links are notorious for dying before their time, so grab it while you can.

And please don't keep posting to ask for more mirrors when they keep getting taken down. Ben Settle's eagle-eyed legal people (or bots) are tracking these links and sending DMCAs like there's no tomorrow. So understand this: Nobody is trying to get sued just to share a document with you.
