@bluefeb: I just downloaded imjuanita's mirror of this share from the mediafire link and ran it through Virus Total.

Here's what I got:

It seems like you ran a local scan using your computer's Windows Defender program, right? Since Windows Defender does not show up in the VT scan, I then ran a local scan using iObit Malware Detector and got a NO THREATS result. I have Avast! and Malwarebytes as my primary and secondary virus programs so my Windows Defender is in idle mode because of that.

You may want to see if a Windows Update will correct any issue you may be having in Windows Defender but as much as I can see from the VT scan, there is nothing the matter with imjuanita's mirror. It might just be that Windows Defender did not like the AZW3 format of that Amazon Kindle e-book and reacted to it.

To make this less complicated and if it will help, I uploaded the file to mediafire so, please, try that download and run your scan again. The first Mediafire link has both book formats and the second one has just the PDF. See if you can get a clean virus report using Windows Defender on one or the other.
