Some of this may have been shared already but I'm posting new links because the threads are old.

I was asked for John Carlton's Marketing Renegade course and his newsletter files via PM. Since it took me a minute to find them on an older external drive, I decided to make them available to a wider audience.

NOTE: Carlton's newsletter files are in Microsoft Word format. You can convert them to PDFs if you have MS Office (which includes MS Word) or any document processing software that can handle .doc or .docx files.

It you don't have such a program, use a good .docx to PDF converter tool.

Unfortunately, most of these tools do not allow batch conversions (ex: more than a few files at once) and there are daily limits. You might try using your VPN to get around that. Otherwise, you will need to purchase a subscription plan.

And here is a Lifewire article about the best free word processors online. No MS Word? No problem. So long as you have an internet connection, you can do this!

Hey Layna my good friend thanks so much for this awesome share and reminding EVERYONE here about the absolute GOLD contained in the works of JOHN! He is one of my top go-to's when it comes to anything marketing or copywriting, and ALL of the greats, both before and after the Internet arrived, credit JOHN to a major degree for their success-

To show the absolute value in just John's First, Main book Kick-A$$ Copywriting Secrets, I have these 2 testimonials for everybody from none-other than self-made multi-multi-Millionaire extraordinaire Frank Kern-

The first is easy to spot on the testimonial page in the Kick A$$ book, the second probably no one has ever read as it's buried deep in a secret, forgotten Frank Kern newsletter, but here goes-

5. Build a success library.
The old story is, rich people have big libraries, and poor people have big T.V.ʼs.
(Truth told—you really can have both.)
Thereʼs one reason to build a success library though which is a little bit different than
the typical reasons. Itʼs not unusual, in the business of day-to-day life, to acquire
materials faster than you can consume the information.
So itʼs important to keep an extensive library so you can reference it in times of
need.
I used this in fact when I got sued by the Feds all those years ago.
I had bought John Carltonʼs course a couple years prior and it sat around for a little
while. But then, the night the Feds showed up, I was lying in bed freaked out.

My wife was kind of freaked out too (but not as freaked out as me). My identity as
marketing guru, Frank Kern, was gone.
Yet, I picked up Carltonʼs course and I started going through it and I realized that he
explained, so clearly, how I could recover from my predicament.
Thatʼs when I realized everything was going to be fine! I could totally bounce back by
writing emotional copy. And it all worked out okay.
But had I not made that investment knowing that eventually I would use it, I wouldnʼt
have had it to reference in that moment.
I wonder how would life be different now if I hadnʼt experienced that one single
moment lying in bed scared to death, reading Carltonʼs stuff?
Moments like these are why itʼs very important to invest in a success library…which
should have a range of stuff from people like Napoleon Hill, Tony Robbins, Dan
Kennedy and of course yours truly.
But by all means, get pretty much anything you can get your hands on that will help
make your life better and then read it as much as possible!
