Try using a free VPN, as zippy does not like certain countries... I'm UK so I always use a VPN works every time. I shared a FREEBIE VPN on here recently.

@LeggyAnita: I feel your pain with zippy links but let me ask you this: Is the issue that zippy links are restricted in your country (i.e., banned)? Or is it that you get a lot of unwanted ads or other intrusions when you land on the download page?

It it's the former, you might try using a good VPN and change your country or region location to cloak your IP address. That might work.

But if it's the latter, I can suggest that you download the uBlock Origin browser extension and integrate it with whatever browser you use. I use Google Chrome most of the time and this ad blocker is utterly amazing. It's advertised as the "efficient ad blocker that's easy on CPU and memory."

All I can tell you is that uBlock Origin puts zippyshare in its place. Someone here at BBHF hipped me to it. Before I knew it even existed, I used to go through changes with zippy links; but soon after downloading and integrating it, my problems with zippy links became a thing of the past!

No longer do I get those crazy unwanted ads with blinking arrows and flashing buttons. Or pop-unders to sites I didn't call up. Or the illustration of some "average Joe" for an ED ad stroking his grotesquely oversized phallus.

All I get is the download now... unless the zippy link has already died.

Now, that's the REAL issue I have. Generally, zippy links have the life-span of a gnat.

INQUIRING MINDS WANT TO KNOW: And if you're wondering what the actual life span of a gnat is, I just looked it up...

Okay, I have too much time on my hands.

Hey!

Layna's comment up there reminded me of my question and reason why I post my "rare" shares on Zippy for the most part- I posted the question in another thread about why I use Zippy- I don't do it to annoy anyone, and I'm not trying to be a "Joker" lol-

The main reason is because, as Layna said above, the links usually have the lifespan of a "gnat," so yes I'm trying to create a sense of urgency for anyone to download the share quickly before they forget about it but also-

I'm always hoping someone will grab the BBHF baton and put up other, more enduring links! That's it! I've given the Golden Goose in many cases, and then hoping SOMEONE will then PASS IT ON!

And I do have more T.J. Rohleder to send your way, I just wanted to give everyone a MINUTE to DIGEST the DIAMONDS contained in the stuff I just put up ( I am seriously mixing metaphors here so please don't arrest me English majors!)
