Well guess what...very soon the mothership will (silently) switch on a new 'feature' without telling you or seeking your permission - Amazon Sidewalk.

With it, they'll share part of your internet bandwidth with the neighbors.
This will be enabled by default.
You can turn it off yourself - if you know how, maybe like so:

To disable Sidewalk, open the Alexa app on your mobile device and navigate to More > Settings > Account Settings > Amazon Sidewalk.
