Hi ilikeseggs, I have not installed this version but I have been using -for more than a year- the previous one coming from the very same person. I will install it next week and let you know. Hope this will be useful for you and others.

how do you do the codec activation setups

Hi william40.

The instructions are included in the share.

Here you can check them:

Add to your hosts file (by default: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts) these lines:

127.0.0.1 cap.cyberlink.com
127.0.0.1 activation.cyberlink.com

If you have done it before, skip this step.

- Run Setup.exe from Setup (Pre-done) folder.

- You can customize your setup as wish, all apps + all content packs are up to preference.

- After installation is done, execute 3 codec activation setups for AudioDirector, PhotoDirector and ColorDirector codec activations.

* Codec activation setup password: SamuRa1

PowerDirector Instructions:

- Merge provided reg entry.

Open PowerDirector, import MKV or MP4, go to Produce tab, choose H265, click start. If asked, You will have codec activation pop up, choose I don't have internet connection. Insert any numbers like 111111111, click OK. Codec activation done.

Changes:

* Created a better patching method. Eased codec activation process.

* All watermark and pirated copy messages are removed.

* H.264, H.265 codecs are tested without problems.
