I have tested doing one keyword research campaign and it worked fine, i haven't worked much with the tool as i think it's not that great, but that's my personal opinion :)

Working 100% just like the purchased version is! You have to enter your G Adwords and/or SEOmoz API [free to get] to get loads of info in this software. TBH, as Taur has already mentioned, this soft is a bit naff, you can get most of the data it provides on Google anyway. Initially I installed v2.1.2 which worked flawlessly, then when Taur put out v2.1.3 I uninstalled v2.1.2 (I have both Total Uninstall and Revo), and then I tried installing v2.1.3 and it simply would not install (Adobe Air said "application installed" but nothing showed up in my Program Files folder). So after making sure all traces of the program were gone from my system (including a Windows Registry search for "longtail" and deleting all related keys - yes they were left behind by both Revo and Total Uninstall !!), I reinstalled v2.1.2 which worked, but for some reason the software will not allow me to enter keyword campaigns I had previously set up - the software would not accept those kewords. It works with "new" keyword campaigns though. So I think Adobe Air itself may have stored some info that is causing a conflict. When trying previously used keywords, I also got an error saying "Save Failed, Please Ensure File Is Not Write Protected" (approximate wording). Like I said, very weird behavior. Hopefully newer versions will be less buggy. Thanks again Taur!!
